If such a Law had been in place a few years back, it would have been illegal for the 16 year old girl to 📸record the murder of George Floyd at a reasonable distance... I remember when one would see a stranger or a news crew taking 📸video, people would photo bomb them. Others would jump in front of the 📸camera and make a strong mans pose or say "Hi Mom." Now people call 👮🏻♂👮🏻♂men with guns to harass and jail an innocent man with a 📸camera. Shame❗ Shame❗ Shame❗

@@robbygee2539 In the past, yes, because unions in general are more likely to support Democrat politicians. However, the PBAs in the area this was recorded (NYC and Long Island), as well as police unions across the country, have endorsed Trump's reelection.

@@coffeedonutsandhomer653 Some police academies and department chiefs are smart. Some are not. Some are like "so yeah here's your gun and badge and uhh dont like shoot someone unless you felt threatened and uhh yeah, have fun" There's no standard in police training, thats the biggest issue. You have federal, state, county, sheriffs, troopers, everything in between. Everyone doing things differently, with different budgets. Sheriffs are elected, they dont go through any training. As a finnish person for a law enforcement officer to have no training, just the popular vote sounds insane. They have a gun and badge and authority with no training. Insane. In Finland every cop goes through 2 years of actual police school. And it starts with psychological assesments and stuff. And you can be dropped out at any point if the instructors feel like you wont make a proper cop. But our system isnt perfect either, our cops dont wear body cams and corruption and tyrants are there just like in the US.. And we dont even have internal affairs. Here regular ol cops investigate other cops misconduct and crimes (but lead investigator is always the prosecutor, not another cop) But body cams are coming, at some time. Issue is that the cops have the right to turn them off at any time, so yeah kind defeats the purpose of transparency.
