As with any artist, I hope that he knew that his works brought many people together to enjoy what he had to offer to the vocaloid fandom and music in general. Rest in peace wowaka! may your music continue to inspire others to create their own

when my depression hit me hard (multiple times) I listened to this song I could relate to her and I have a happier interpretation of the end so it gave me some hope but at times I just dropped that and just cried, sometimes just internally and world's end dancehall was always a really fun song to me even if it is about the world ending. it was also a good song to dance to and dancing is one of the ways I express myself and my feelings those are the two I've been listening to for a long time but recently got into two face lovers. I don't exactly know why I like it so much though

This song has been a staple in my life and this version has sent me back mentally to be able to hug myself back then. Thank you. This is like hearing a validation that my struggle was heard. RIP Wowaka. If anyone seeing this is struggling like I was please stay. No matter what happens if you stay it will get better.

Woah, I’m stunned. This is a truly magnificent cover, and I’m sure that if Wowaka were here, he’d love every bit of it. Like others have said, the emotion at the end is perfect given the situation, and adds a very welcome effect to the song. Out of curiosity, were you genuinely getting a bit weepy while recording, or was the emotion more intentional than accidental?
@Nyamai5 жыл бұрын
I legitimately cried. I tried recording it a few times but I kept breaking down so I just decided to keep it or it would have never been finished

Wowaka really did change my life a lot, Rolling Girl was the first vocaloid song I ever listened to and was my gateway into vocaloid, anime, and all the other stuff that now help impact and shape my life, without him I feel like I wouldn’t be the type of person I am today. But more than that, it was also my first exposure to the concept of “depression”, back then I thought it was an illness someone could catch- like the flu, but now I understand it, now I’m able to comprehend what it is I had, and what it is that Vocaloid helped me with. I never really knew it before, but that man changed my life, and I hope now he can rest easy.

I resonate with a few of his songs, especially In The Gray Zone and Rolling Girl. His songs have such meaning to them, and were honestly the reason I started looking more into Vocaloid. Because of him, I now have songs that can often help me through some days. The years he had on this planet, while few, have been a source of joy, and even help, to so many people. And for that, I, and many others, are eternally grateful. Rest in Peace, wowaka. Thank you for being a part of our lives.

Rolling girl was the first Vocaloid song I ever listened to. I started out in the community through Jubyphonic, and when I started wanting to hear the originals, this was the one I found first. In a way, Wowaka got me into the fandom. I hope that wherever he is that he knows how many people just like me he affected. His music was there for me when I was at my lowest, when I myself was a rolling girl. May he be be happy in his next life.

Hi, so wowaka And his music has affected me in many ways. One being that, awhile ago, i was in a very dark place. I didbt want to go to school or anything. I used to just sit in my room all day. I found his music, as something that expressed how i was feeling despite me not even knowing what was going on Myself. Especially this song. This one means alot to me. Im coming back to the song again because, now im in the same corner because my cousin has passed away. This time i have friends and people to support me but his music still helps me to this day. In a way, im still alive because of his music. And thank you for this cover. I wanted a nice quiet version that I can fall asleep to. And my sesrch blessed me with this 💕 thank you.

Wowaka already passed away a year ago, this makes me sad. Rolling girl is a song in Unhappy Refrain that talks about Miku being bullied, decides to roll away from her problems because she wants to believe she will something, the " Thank you" is for when the boy taught Miku about afterlife right after Miku accepts her depression as well. Unhappy Refrain is a sing about the dissatisfaction to Vocaloid, Two faced lovers is a song about love, innocence, and sensationalism. Unhappy Refrain is important to me because, Wowaka passed away, there are songs that talk about suicide, like Rolling Girl as an example of being an emotional Vocaloid song. But at the end with the screenshots having colors that already grew when the boy touches Miku and hugged her before the colors appeared, the reason why the colors grew is because the boy wants to show Miku he cares about her.

The song was my go to back then. Like, I listened to his songs, mostly Rolling Girl in repeat because I feel connected to the song. Yes, I am bullying victim for almost 6 years as well as being treated like trash at home eversince highschool. The song was recommended to me by a friend, and i instantly fell in love with it. When my 3rd girl cheated on me again, this song gave me comfort. I'd listen to this till I sleep or whenever I was having alone times. Wowaka's passing was rather too quick for me, and I always wanted to thank him for making such great songs.
