FYI .. all damaged products! At the furniture outlets. It's a matter of where the damages is . If it shows or will no one see it and you can haggle prices because they really want to get rid of the damaged goods asap! Next time try haggling a little! So a $1000 item at mark down and damaged the best infer you should put forward is starting at $300 or 1/3 the marked down price for starters most times they'll take it 1/3 value Especially the smaller items as they clog up the showroom and you have to take it right then and there for that haggled price. My sister worked for them as a college intern back in the day. 😂😂😂 be safe ! Bless 🇯🇲🇺🇸 mom/gma

This is great advice! I had never been to a home decor outlet before so I didn’t know what to expect. But yes I saw a lot of things that were slightly damaged! If I go back/need something there I will be sure to haggle!

When I lived in NY over 30 years ago, IKEA opened a store in, I believe, Hicksville, Long Island. I think it was the 1st NY store.

Homegoods has a lot of nice inexpensive pieces. I think the one in manhattan is on Columbus ave on the upper westside. There is another big one in college point Queens.

Like in the early 2000 before there were ikeas everywhere; everyone wanted one of those bags and it was like an inside joke in college when an ikea bag would magically appear in the dorms or someone’s college apartment. Also I get made fun of all the time, because at least once a month I walk out of stores like target with a basket in my hand or something like that.. meant no offence.
