@@nk.medani first of all, i grew up here. nothing like a transplant trying to school a native on my own city. who do you think you are? second of all, i implore you to please re-read my comment and reach far in your brain to figure out why you are finding it offensive. i can take a guess - you, yourself, find living in upper manhattan something to be ashamed of so you're projecting it onto me. you cannot rent an apartment in lower manhattan close in size to the ones you showed for under $2k in 2024 and that is a fact.

Jah & Jahes love sista. Thanks for a great video about your most current apartment search in our beloved city of New York-the Big Apple! I loved the last 4 apartments that you toured and I felt that they were a great price. I wish I could apply for them as well. My voucher is enough to pay for that amount. Are you working with a realtor? And, you seem more relaxed, what did you and your current property owner decide to do? I guess you are staying at the place for some time much longer did they renew the lease? I hope and pray that your applications are approved and that you get your dream apartment where you will become the woman you seek to be. Who are you are you talking to about Central Harlem? Girl. The slander. They got you shook and misinformed. Someone from Harlem needs to school you. There is so much beauty here. Smdh.
@nk.medani10 ай бұрын
??? Literally no one uttered a WORD about central Harlem as a whole. If you listened to the video I was referring to the 1 street out of an entire HUGE neighborhood (1 section of one street: 125th Harlem subway station) & as a woman, I want to feel SAFE while walking home. A very rational thing to want, right?? I know there’s beauty there & many people know that too. No one said anything to combat this, but your comment was very out of line. Please don’t come on to people’s videos and assume! You’re doing harm for no reason.
@radhamusprime856310 ай бұрын
Exact quote from your video “The place I went to today was in Central Harlem. I was told to avoid 125th street simply because a lot of things happen around there” do you know how big 125th street is? You didn’t say 125th and Lexington or anything specific. these kinds of sentiments shared on these kinds of platforms are very misleading and hurtful to this community. IM FROM HERE so nothing I say to defend the image of this community is out of line. This is the second video I’ve seen of yours where you mischaracterize or say something negative about Harlem. So I’m not out of line. How am I causing harm by disputing your misguided claims and defending the image of my neighborhood. I’m VERY in step with someone from here who is tired of it constantly being mischaracterized.
@nk.medani10 ай бұрын
@@radhamusprime8563 and again, you completely took it out of context. No one discredited the beauty! You made that statement on your own. I’ve said in many videos I want to feel safe walking home, and yes you can look up the many videos of others saying similar things to what I’ve said. This is not an isolated statement! So do not target me and say that I am saying things that are “out of line” when this is not factual. And hopefully you are keeping this same energy to the countless other videos who statement the same sentiment, otherwise you look like a bully for being negative to only me. While you’re at it, go watch this video & read the comments (iheartnella’s comment in specific, and the thread that follows). And since you feel so inclined, comment on the video too! www.tiktok.com/t/ZTL2YjRXW/. And for the last time: I was referring to the train station distance and feeling safe walking home! Do not try to twist my words and make it sound like I said anything other than that.
@radhamusprime856310 ай бұрын
I am not twisting your words I am using a DIRECT QUOTE from YOUR video. Did you watch it? You did not clarify which part of 125th street you are talking about that made you feel unsafe. You said you were told to avoid 125th street which cuts across from east to west. I’m not bullying you. Bullying would entail picking apart your character or personal appearance. I simply said what YOU said is harmful and misleading. Yea maybe I called you out. That is not bullying. I did not misconstrue of twist your words. I gave YOUR VERY OWN words right back to you. And instead of looking at how what you said is ill informed (please watch your vid again where u didn’t specify what part of 125th street made you feel unsafe) you are deflecting and calling me a bully. How do you know I don’t call out other people for doing the same? But why even bring them into it? So sad that you’re more interested in my being a bully then my being someone from the community saying to you “hey what youre said about my neighborhood is harmful” no desire to even see how you might be contributing to a stereotype. But no worries. Best of luck on your search. As I said in a previous video, if you want to link with some great realtors who can share wonderful rentals in central Harlem. I got you. I hope you find the apartment of your dreams.
@nk.medani10 ай бұрын
@@radhamusprime8563 the one thing I did not specify is what part of 125th street. Yes, this was a blanket statement, but how I said it in no way meant to harm! If you really watch all my videos (all the way through), there is no question that I am intentional and kind with how I come off. If you read all the comments I get on my videos, it’s further validated. Given you’re from the area, I see how you took that statement personally. If you came into my comments with more grace, instead of how you did end up commenting, this would have been a completely different conversation from the start. But unfortunately, I have been met with a handful of people over the years who have nothing but negativity, and I took your comment moreso as an attack rather than a genuine display of emotion. So, I apologize that this upset you the way it did. I did in no way mean to cause anger or frustration around your home. Moving forward I will watch how I share information and be more sensitive to that.
