His best song post Beatles w/o a doubt. Man is a musical genius

A genius wouldn't have written as much crap as he's turned out post-Beatles. But this is one of his best.

This is my favorite Beatles-related song. Usually, when I tell people that, even the biggest Beatles fans say, "I don't know that one." How awesome to see these guys seem to pull it out of their memory banks for an impromptu performance in a park!

No. It's on the demo tape recorded between May-August 1970. That's when Paul was speaking it to John. He just didn't publish it til the nasty 69-71 fight was over, in 1973.

This song has always been a gem to me! What's always grabbed me about this song is the juxtaposition of the upbeat, memorable and beautiful melody with the melancholy lyrics. For some reason this song tends to get me choked up. That's pretty amazing considering that there's nothing and no one really specific that the lyrics are talking about. In that respect it's very much like "I'll Follow The Sun". It's the listener that fills in the blanks. You somehow find that you're putting yourself into the picture that the song is painting which makes it all the more compelling and personal.

This was an amazing job for one of Paul's more eccentric but beautiful melodies. Thanks for uploading. With Sir Paul and Beatles in mind, I've taken the liberty of posting the video, "40 Years of History in 3 Minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

So, basically, with Putin and, soon, Trump in power, humanity has only just months or, at best, just a few years to exist. And yet, when I watch this video, I wonder how come this is so peaceful, how come a bunch of human beings are able to come together, sing "Lalalala" and not want to shoot each other's heads off....I think we will never know why.
