I remember at my job people either had The Daily News or The New York Post when we came in and Trump and Marla Maples were on the cover of both newspapers every morning forever lol. I remember one day in the late 70’s or early 80’s me and a bunch of my friends saying let’s go check out Trump Towers and see what it looks like inside. I am was a lower middle class girl from Brooklyn but even we knew it was horrible tacky ‘new money’ marble with pink and gold all over.
