This is fabulous, I love all your positive environmental choices. And you’re completely right about things like straws. Even if the effect is negligible compared to businesses, x million people not using straws etc adds up, and unnecessary use of plastics/other environmentally unsound things is still a blemish on the planet each person is responsible for. One raindrop raises the sea. Good effort (and beautiful art and video as always).

For LA, you should go to the Getty. Go to a nice cafe and bring your items up to the top (the Getty’s on a hill). The grass is the softest thing on the planet, so it’s perfect for picnics. There’s also free museums everywhere.

I've been to almost all the museums in LA and the La Brea Tar Pits is hands down my favourite! It's one of my fave places to sketch. Watching active tar pits bubble and fossils being excavated live is a sight to see. Also if you like good vegan food Veggie Grill is a local chain here that I really enjoy

LA Suggestions: Lavender and Honey Coffee in Pasadena, Luggage Room Pizza in Pasadena ( its the old train station luggage room turned into a restaurant and the pizza is INCREDIBLE. Plan Check for a really good cheese burger, Manuela's in the art district has fabulous seafood. Afters Ice Cream in Pasadena is in an old vintage gas station and its adorable and delicious. Amara Cafe and restaurant has homemade churros and homemade chocolate dipping sauce (they are famous for there chocolate). Huntington Gardens are beautiful and have fabulous art. Gallery Nucleus is a really cool art gallery which has illustration/animation shows often.

LA IS SO BIG! If you go to Little Tokyo theres Monzo Udon or Daikokuya, theres Qpop ( a small pop art / toy gallery ) I feel like you'd like North East LA (SIlverlake/Echo Park/Highland Park area) theres lots of shops and restaurants there and its considered pretty trendy neighborhood. Leos Tacos is a pretty popular taco truck, their al pastor is super tasty and theres a couple trucks around la. Stationery recs: Baumkuchen (Altadena, check their website for hours cause its .. not open alot ) Topdrawer (Studio City) Maido (full of Japanese Stationery)

Great video, as always! Last time I was in Seattle was back in 2012 for Pax Prime, but here goes! The first Starbucks store located in Pike’s Place Market. There was a huge lineup, but I think that was largely due to the event. No seating, just take your drink and go. There’s also the famous gum wall. A few attempts have been made by the city to clean it up, but it always came back worse than before. It’s become sort of an odd tourist attraction. My friends and I weren’t actively looking for it; we just stumbled across it in our travels. Pike’s Place Market is located next to the ocean. There are lots of unique shops and eateries. There’s also Kinokuniya, Daiso, and a Pokémon Center vending machine kiosk located at a mall I have since forgotten the name of. In LA, there’s Japan Town and Korea Town. There’s another Daiso, and a MUJI. There’s also a stationery store called Baum-Kuchen. It is run by a sweet Japanese/German couple. The lady’s name is Wakako. They sell mainly Japanese stationery items, focusing on the Traveler’s Notebook. They have moved locations since the last time I was there in January 2018. They also run a blog on their store website and it’s always a source of inspiration for me. LA also has Venice Beach, and Griffith Conservatory. I don’t recommend going to Hollywood. Hollywood is a classic example of “Paris Syndrome”, where the location you dreamed of doesn’t hold up in reality. It can be quite dangerous due to transients in the area, and there’s tonnes of people pressuring you to buy their touristy goods and services. When one guy wouldn’t stop pestering me to buy a ticket for a tour of the Hollywood Hills, I told him finally, “No thank you. Good luck with your sales.” You need to be firm when you tell someone no. To summerise, Hollywood is pretty on TV and that’s about it. Hope that helps! I’m open to any questions you might have.

Loved this haul and totes appreciate the effort you go in to with the stop motion close ups. As for moving out of the warehouse for that side light glory (I understand, dark properties are a deal breaker for me) perhaps the perfect middle ground would be a converted warehouse apartment (there's a few in Marrickville too!)

Grateful we have top-down light, but it's harder to shoot and not as calming to bathe in. Definitely first world problems tho haha

AHHHH You are gonna be in Seattle!!! You should do a meet and greet! 🤗Oh...It’s probably vacation time for you so probably not a meet in greet. I’ll just have to save up my moneys and fly to Australia when you have a show or something. 🇦🇺😸 Places to explore in Seattle...ooo there is a lovely garden in the middle of the city called Waterfall Garden Park. 🌿 Also the Museum of Pop Culture is a fun funky place. 🎸 Also Seattle Chinatown has fun architecture and there is a bookstore called Kinokuniya that has lovely stationary. ⛩ If you are willing to take a ferry to Bainbridge Island and drive all over the Olympic Peninsula there is an old Victorian town called Port Townsend that may or may not be haunted but it sure is beautiful! Then there is La Push beach (the 2nd beach) which is just stunning and you need to mini hike to it through a pretty forest. 🌲🍂🏖The drive there is also gorgeous! Anywho hope this is helpful, you and Rocket have fun exploring LA & Seattle darling! 👋🏼😍😊💕✨🦖⭐️

But yes I highly recommend the museum of pop culture and the pacific science center and chihuly garden and glass building are super cool. You would probably like the kunokinya bookstore so yes to that. If you grab bubble tea, i would recommend trying out young tea next door in chinatown.
