I was an emotional wreck. I called my fiancé during the course and I was in tears and as I spoke to the lady to encouraged me to keep going I was also very emotional then. Thank you, Aubrey. She's a beast, but you kept going! When I did NYC, I hurt my foot around mile 7; favored it so much that my other leg was a cramping mess by mile 13. I limped and walked and kept going, even though I wanted to stop at every medical station I saw. I finished more than an hour after I'd planned/hoped, and swore I wouldn't do that again. An hour later, I was planning my come back. CONGRATULATIONS! You finished! You persevered, and 💯that's the thing that matters. They won't all go as planned. 💪🏾
