The gross GDP of New York is slightly higher but when you adjust income versus cost of living Florida is a much better place . No income tax very easy business regulations . Poverty and lack of resources or services is the biggest cause for crime… if healthcare, homelessness, affordable housing and education are addressed more in the depth you wind up with a lot less people running into or getting into trouble.

Eric Adams told cbcny that using remote learning you could have 1 teacher to 300-400 students when asked about the cost of funding schools, he recently said that he meant 30-40. Eric Adams told Bloomberg you could use remote learning to have 1 teacher to 200-300 students and it would be cost-effective but has so far not commented on what he previously said to Bloomberg. Also, Eric Adams in 2019 and 2020 got 14 speeding tickets in school zones and 1 failure to stop at a red light. Eric Adams hasn't been transparent about the properties he owns and has a history of supporting Louis Farrakhan who is described by the Anti-Defamation League as “a notable extremist figure, railing against Jews, white people and the LGBT community.”
