Mr. Franzzese; My father was a 30 year veteran of the Chicago Police. He was fully Italian as well. I used to love to hear his stories. Your channel reminds me of that. Although my father would not have approved of the life, he would have had a tremendous amount of respect for your father. He would have treated your father with utmost respect- and I am confident he would, have picked up the check! I can't not express why I think he would have enjoyed your father's company , it probably has to do with the fact that they both share the same heritage. To my father, fellow Italians were family (in the good sense). He was always proud when an Italian would get famous. He loved Sergio Franchi and countless others for that reason. Sonny and Dad would have made a great couple to listen to, if allowed in the room. If not, I would settle for being "a fly on the wall>" Peace, Rocco Benedetto Rubino- Amherst Ohio

I'm so glad I left that street life alone. I got out 2013, managed to get off parole in 2015 and still till this Day I haven't broken not One law, not even traffic laws. I got two businesses going ( all legal) and I'm damn proud of myself and the hard work I put in. I went from running from police and fighting in the streets to being respected by the community including respected by law enforcement.. they personally see me working and even tip their hats.. when I run into them it's always " hey how is the hardest working man in town doing"? And feels great to have respect From everybody including law enforcement.. I actually regret living that street life in the past, I wasted so many years of my life living that way.. but it's All good now cuz I'm looking forward to the future

In a country where the average person commits “three felonies a day” it is highly unlikely you or anyone else hasn’t broken a law since last month, let alone since 2015, especially if you are using computers (who isn’t) and running a business. And of course you’ve broken traffic laws as any police officer will confirm that finding probable cause for a pre-textual traffic stop takes an average of less than 5 minutes of tailing.

We have car boosters where I live that sit in a car at the end of the street and wait for someone to un/lock the car they want using the remote. They scan the frequency with some device and wait for the owner to go to bed. Once the lights are off they walk right up to the car, unlock it remotely, get in and drive away without making a sound. All because some dumbass designer thinks keys are too complicated. They call that progress. Point is; If low rent street gangs have this technology in their pockets just imagine what the Feds have up their sleeves.

the things is push start and unlock/lock button utilize different ways to send their signal. The signal for push start can be used even with a dead key while your lock/unlock cant. However i know many cars can be started with their key by sometimes utilizing a sequence of lock/unlocks. I think what you are talking about is them using a signal booster to walk up to a house and extend the rfid (i believe) signal that is used for push start. Normally the key would have to be in the car, but they use devices thatll extend it much much farther so that way they can steal the signal that is always coming off the key from inside the home and then extend it to the driveway so they can just start it like normal. You can avoid this by putting your keys in something thatll block its signal when at home, and by not storing them near the front door or garage as they usually walk around the front part of the home with their signal booster to see if they can find it n unlock + start the car

I read a few comments about Michael having too much sympathy for the mobsters and being criticized for calling Andrew a good man. Before you judge what he says, take a step back and look at the situation. I wouldn't be surprised if Michael has a lot of conflicting emotions about what happened. There's people in all of our lives, whether they're doing right or wrong, that we form emotional attachments to. Sometimes it's hard to separate a person from their actions and sometimes it's not. We can have good memories of a person who was involved in terrible things because that's the reality we lived and the experience we had. There isn't a right or a wrong way for him to feel about this. Leave the man alone and let him tell the story.
@mr.o5233 жыл бұрын
I have one question, if Micheal knew Russo was the boss how is he able to be a free man? Isn't there some connections there? Micheal has and probably still does have extremely valuable information. Why does he only speak up when these men are busted? Is that really a man of God? Or am I missing something?
@theproject5683 жыл бұрын
@@mr.o523 I can’t speak for Michael. I don’t know what’s in his head or what his real intentions might be. I simply commented on the fact that a lot of people seemed to be demonizing him for what he said in the video. As if they have the authority on how he should think and feel about the situation. Michael is a grown man. I’m sure he’s well aware of what he says and why he says it. He made it quite clear several times in the video the fallacy of the lifestyle and how it doesn’t pay off in the end. What else do you want to hear?
@mattwilson59693 жыл бұрын
If you or your loved ones had been a victim of serious organised crime would you be typing away defending it? Criminals negatively affect others for their own personal gain so deserve no respect even from a reformed criminal.
@mr.o5233 жыл бұрын
@@theproject568 any other person would condemn these criminals but Micheal gets a pass bc he knew the guy? Look I get that Micheal is trying to change his old ways but you don't go around saying these kind of things about TOP CRIMINALS IN OUR COUNTRY. He could've commented on the situation any other way but he chose to almost idolize Russo. Even though he clearly knows this man was the Boss of that family. All I'm am saying is if there was someone in the USA who knew where Bin Laden was hiding we wouldn't consider them a proud citizen of our country. Or a man of God. And yes I'm comparing Russo to Bin laden bc of the power they both wield. Evil power
@theproject5683 жыл бұрын
@@mattwilson5969 If Russo is guilty, then he deserves to go where he’s going. Nothing changes the attachment that Michael had for the guy in his past life. I’m not justifying it one way or the other. Michael has a right to feel however he feels about the situation and nobody, you included, gets to judge him for that.

This is a really poor decision Andrew Russo made to stay in that life. You think he'd realize how lucky he was to be free not dead or in Prison. The man is 87 years old, survived all the Wars, the Colombo Indictments, all the rats and was out of Prison at 87 years old. He should have retired. Nobody would blame him, he'd be respected as an Elder Statesman of the Mafia, he could still get favors from his old associates if he needed them but to be active in that life as the Boss involved in Racketeering in 2021? The man could've retired, spent the rest of his life with his Family at home and died peacefully there. Now they'll take every penny he has, give him 20 years and he'll die alone in Prison. I'm so sorry you had to hear about this happening to your former Captain and friend Michael.
@ram06663 жыл бұрын
Russo doesnt look at it like that. He looks at it as he is just being him.Thats what real gangsters believe. Dying in prison or in the street are as part of that life as bookmaking and loan sharking. The thing with Michael is that no matter what you think of him,he wasnt a real gangster. He may have made alot of money and been in the mafia but he was given his position because of his father. He never did anything to get made or inducted. Yes,he was smart enough to take advantage of it.The second the shit hit the fan he got out of the life. I dont want to debate with a diehard Michael fan but he gave information and testified.He was shelved from the mafia. He can say he walked away but he knew he would be shelved or killed. He was shelved out of respect for his father instead of being hunted down..So if you think the real deal gangster is Michael than your understanding of what these guys really are is altered.
