I bought a BP800 head. The only word I can think for describing sound is "sterile". Icy, short decay. Ironically the thing It lacked most on stage with a loud drummer was top end. It had treble but the frequencies weren't where the good crunch comes from I could see slappers gravitating towards this amp. I slap some but finger style (Geddy Lee style) mostly and I need that crunch that cuts through cymbals and distorted guitar. I will probably send this head back. I have 2 PJB cabs that are sitting in my garage. Too tiny of a sound for live gigs.
