⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ NYC Subway Front Window View - The Queens-Bound 7 Local Line

The R62As on the 7 line have been removed from service and will soon be moved over to other lines. I took the opportunity right before this occurred to get footage from the passenger-accessible front window, which provides some amazing views. Enjoy!

Thanks for the memories..as a kid growing up in Brooklyn, the highlight of my like was when we rode the train and I got to look out of the front window...pretending like I was driving the train...these videos bring back those memories

I believe either 3/29/18 or 3/30/18 was the last time the R62A's ever ran on Flushing. The end of the SMEE era on the 7 line too.. I'll remember these trains on the 7.

The 7 Line will have the new speakers as well as other lines except for the 7th Avenue Line and Lexington Avenue Line. The R62A is still at the Corona Yard.

R33WF/R36WF were the workhorse of the 7 Train 1964-2003. 62A was displaced by the 142A on the 6, now thry are back home on the 6 with the 7 now all R188. This is truly the end of the RFW on the A Division/IRT as those Remaining cars will be vonverted to full cab either to the 1 or 6 train. Sad.

Alex The railfan Yes. All the 62A that had RFW on the 7 were converted to full cab when transferred to the 6, this is why i am going to miss Car 1960 which was one of the remaining RFW on the 7

You don't want the 7 line going to Jersey. Once the subways travel interstate, different union rules take effect, including the right to strike, and the MTA knows this.

Why were those trains as silver as those in Chicago on the CTS?. Everything looked the same as Chicago, with almost every station looking the same, even the buildings in NYC and surrounding areas, as was in Chicago looked the bland same, and so different to how it looked here in London.
