The experience you had at Chrome Hearts is becoming common across luxury brands. I think it's due to the popularity of these brands being pushed by social media so their attitude is that they have plenty of customers and they are not interested in you. They can treat people however they choose but people will tolerate it just to purchase their products. It's probably some inside joke as to how far they can push abuse before there is push back.
