Huge miss on no Franny or Sodas. I think the catalog could have been a little better. I am pumped for Corazon and that Headless Freddy. I also may be picking up the Buggy, Demon Spider Father and that Kylo. Definitely feels like funko has been missing the point with Star Wars. I would have loved to see another Trooper, specifically a Kashyyyk one.

Yes total disappointment with Star Wars. Will be skipping for sure. The value of my collection has been dropping as of late and that may be due to the state of the franchise as of late. We shall see but I will always be a die hard fan and collector. Appreciate what you do. And congrats🎉 on the new home. You guys are doing great.

Ahsoka wasn’t well received overall. Acolyte just got cancelled. Mando Season 3 was terrible overall. Andor Season 2 is looking good, but no one cares about Cassian. Star Wars has been struggling since Mando Season 2. Boba Fett was terrible and Obi Wan was pretty good. I’m a die hard fan and always will be, but the combination of sub-par content and terrible Funko Pops has def hurt the Star Wars after market. It’s happening in a lot of toy brands as well, not just Funko. Thanks for watching!

As a huge Star Wars fan I'm also disappointed with the Kylo Ren. There is already a Supreme Leader from the Smugglers Bounty Exclusive with his mask being cracked. It looks really cool too. Really big miss with that one. That's cool though, they're saving me some money. No Franny and no Sodas. I just don't get it. I would get Animal and Freddy as well. Great video brother!!!

This year’s nycc lineup is definitely a miss. No sodas is extremely disappointing. The headless Freddy mold is amazing, but I’m not in love with the colors they chose for it.

Your logic doesn’t make sense at all. Sneakers are limited, and that’s why the drops sell out like crazy. Pops are similar, especially when it come to NYCC. If they didn’t make limited pieces, less people would collect and travel all the way to New York, Chicago and San Diego. I don’t think you understand how collecting works.

They are making new things. Half of these characters have never been done before. New licenses have been acquired and they’re making pops from shows for the first time. I think you need to rewatch the video lol

I agree with the Star Wars disappointment. I would love to be a fly on the wall when Disney and Funko meet to hear how they discuss these Pops. Still holding out some hope that they haven't announced Sodas yet for some strange reason. 😅😭 I'll actually be grabbing a few of them this year. Bleach, Naruto and that headless Freddy are a few.

@@Slapshotpops I really do hope, cause right now I dont really care much for the anime series they have and only collect the few characters like I like from them, so I really hope they get a anime like Tensei Slime, cause I would want all characters in it. Sadly from what I have heard from people then Japan dont really like Funko so its hard for them to actually get licence for anime series, which can be seen by the fact that they never get any series that is airing and is popular like Frieren for example

As a Star Wars fan, I'm a little disappointed with the Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. There are so many characters that they've never done a pop of that could have taken his place. I like the animal with drums. I would've liked to have a different Batman than the Batman Who Laughs. The other pops looks cool. I do like that headless Freddy and the Funko Fusion pops.

I have no problem with them doing show only pops. However in the case of Funko Fusion they probably should have done two show only and then two normal releases. Two of those should have went to GameStop or another retailer to promote the game. I actually might get that kylo Ren might being the keyword. The Deadpool in the Zamboni is a definite need. The Deadpool Wolverine bag actually does make sense John the Blu-ray release is coming out right around the same time as nycc.

Sad that there aren't any Ad Icons. Though TBH, I'd love more non-exclusive Ad Icon Funko Pops, especially if they made the M&Ms spokescandies, the California Raisins [ESPECIALLY A.C.], Donny & Dottie Domino [Domino's Pizza], and the 1970s version of Jack from Jack In The Box. I'd also like more non-exclusive Care Bear pops, especially original symbol Share Bear.

I'm gutted there are no sodas for NYCC. With the 2 Freddys we got for SDCC I thought that we would see atleast one. I agree totally with you on the limited piece counts, it won't please everyone, but the hunt for those Pops are a huge part of the excitement of this hobby. I'm definitely hoping to get the Headless Freddy, Witch Hazel & the Mystical Elf. I'll be trying to grab the Fusion Skeletor, but im guessing it will be a while before it falls into my price range

I have the Hot Topic Buggy The Clown and I would like to try get the deluxe Buggy The Clown. I just like the combination on a Clown as a pirate. I have not watched the show. Maybe in a near future I will start watching. I will try to get Caroline. Freddy looks very cool. One i would like to get as well. Oh my i need to get the bitty. Franny is in there and I would like to be Franny complete. Yes i was wondering about one soda at least. I though Franny would show up. Who knows she might show up in the box of fun. Here’s a thought everyone kinda upset about no franny but Funko could just be building the hype for next year. This lineup is way better than C2E2 & SDCC in my opinion. So many first or second time Characters. I actually think Funko figured it out (except for Star Wars). Freddy should have been glow in the dark.

What do you think the chances are that we’re looking at the 2024 Halloween NFT pops with the bitty pops? Or is that coming up too soon for that to be the case? I don’t really have a feel for how Funko releases these sorts of things, but it’d be really cool if those were the next series of Halloween NFTs.
