Andrew Quackenbush No chance, probably 10,500 at the most. A lot of these cars are running long stroke engines so they wouldnt pull that high rpm. K24's already have a 99mm stroke and i doubt many if any in this class have 2.4s. Drag cartel k27's have 106mm stroke which would have a similar piston speed at 10,500 to a b18c at 13,000rpm...

Your also comparing 2015 Cars to 90s cars with engines from early 2000. 15 Years is a lot for the car industry. Also, Honda focuses on balanced cars for racing, a lot of racing they compete in requires the cars from factory to be 1.6-2.0L. I drive a mustang but these honda's are far from a "piece of shit". A honda can run 10s for about 15-20k, the Hell cat's starting price is 60k... Your comparison doesn't make much since to me.

Those cars have more than 15 to 20k in them and a hellcat is street legal 10s with radio seats you kno full interior what does that honda have a racing seat steering wheel a cage and gauges. The hellcat is so bad ass it had to be down tuned because the orignal version at the factory made 825 hp but failed ftp so had to be downtuned to 707 so it could pass FTP or what is known as federal test procedure for emissions

Those motors are 2.0L - 2.7L at the biggest ... so not only is it half the cylinders of a V8 it's 5.1L smaller, which is pretty huge, compared to your no match 7.8L being all motor. So, I beg to differ. Do your research

Adrian Sandoval Money is not always the issue. Its actually cheaper to make a v8 fast but as a master tech you know that already right? I own a v8,v6 and i4 in the form of two camaros and a civic hatch. Hondas are simply fun as hell to drive and dont cost you much of anything while doing it. So in conclusion hondas are not for kids with no money )as generally theyve moved on to trashing every rwd car they can find while trying to drift) theyre for whoever the hell drives one and decides they like it enough to mod it. its that simple.
