I appreciate your openness about photographers not taking your pic. To be honest, I would keep doing you and have your own photographer at these shows. ❤

I thought I was okay with the times that I’ve been to NYFW but you’re making me want to make my way back. And no worries, I was snubbed by Bill Cunningham in my workplace chic shift dress. 😂 He literally took a picture of two women and then he looked at me and my co-worker like he thought about it and then decided, “nah.” RIP Bill Cunningham. And you’re style is serious inspo. So many of these photographers and industry folks are not about the art. Instead they are focused on the politics and the mainstream. Your channel and one other influencer really motivated to step up my game again. I’m more interested in texture and layers now. Can’t wait how you style those iconic pieces. ❤

I would most definitely ask them! That's just the type of person I am. If I want to know something I'm going to ask and you have every right. It's definitely disheartening when you put in so much work and so much effort and they turn the blind eye. Your feelings are definitely validated and it's cool you're allowing yourself to feel all the stuff.

you are interesting and awesome just the way you are and funny as a drunk bee! 🌹❤️I love your style which looks like your blood count, absolutely healthy and according to your mood... I am Tamara's compatriot... she is unique, just like you... 💫it is not white or colored, it is simply whether you have it or not and whether you stick with it or not... don't let prejudices and assumptions influence your path... Tamara has worked her ass off to get this far (no matter where she comes from and the color didn't help her much either🤨🙂↕️😔)…work is the answer

The whole NYFW being kind of feeling excluded and street style not being captured by the photog and designers houses not reaching out to provide looks for attendance and not having sizes. Monroe Steel talked about this in-depth years ago before covid and it was very disheartening to me to hear that it was happening here and in Europe but was also shocking me that most of the photographers were not people of color either. She basically had worked with someone to capture her stylings. But then came that year of black girl magic during FW and I was so delighted, and I squealed because finally. But I want to see different people captured outside of the events, photographers need to capture something fresh, and I am not so much interested in those born with silver spoons, which position them to constantly get gifted items and celebrity and having very slim bodies because that not representative of the major population. Congrats and excited to see all these great items that you gain access to and can't wait to see how you actually style them during NYFW. So let get clear on the dermabrasion, so they are not supposed to be using razors but some other tool? How do you find out about what is used by someone doing these if I am interested into looking at this procedure here in KCMO

I started this comment but here is the gist of it. This influencing business is all of your creations so keep working it to the highest level. we need you out there and Carolyn you give us more than fashion issues and that is great. I think all of you should move together and explore that side of influencing. Your voices can be a changing moment. As the scholar Dubois said the issue in America is the color line. And we don't stand for each other across all fronts. we want to be paid by the larger society and don't expose their ugliness. race like you said we spend our coins and big coins and they take our money. You have to speak on it. you spend and we spend following you. "may be we need to speak to Tamara and the photographers about it as well.

I agree about the street-style photographers. I've never been to NYFW but I do enjoy looking at the street-style photos that are taken the vast majority of them are of the same type of girl/guy and their outfits don't even be that great. I be swiping through the photos like “okayyyy where are the black folks”

Tamara Kalinic is one the best out there. Took her some time too for her to get to where she is now. I agree with the other person--keep doing you and take your own photographers. These brands look at your videos and things you say. Sai DaSilva made a good point how she loss brands for certain things said on RHONY... I say this repsectfully... I got a nasty remark from you after commenting about a comment you made about TSwift.. I am not a swifty in no way... I'm just in the business of working with successful people at all levels... I thought it was a bit rude... But do you and I wish you all the best! JNaylor/ Karen BC are some of the best too...

Hey as far as the photographers, why don’t you engage a quick conversation,like hey what kind of camera are you using? And\or just say ‘hey could U take a picture of Us..that’s it. See what happens.👗
@LisaBarrett-n9m2 ай бұрын
I’m not surprised that the fashion photographers are lame. They probably only take photos of the folks that they KNOW they can sell so, like so many other industries, they LIMIT the number of photos that they take of the “new comers”.
@uu77942 ай бұрын
Unfortunately it can be also very toxic industry..many white girlies have connections, big management and via them or they have their own contracts with the photographers. It’s so stupid and shallow many opportunities are because of follower count..also Tamara ain’t that nice of a person unfortunately and personally can’t also watch her ever growing endless comsumerism. Anywayyy love ya and I hope you have a nice experience in the fashion week. You’re my favorite fashion channel these days ✌️💕
