Woody Johnson should hire Louis Riddick as the next NY JETS GM and Kliff Kingsbury as the next HQ. He is currently an NFL and college analyst with "football" connections. I watched Riddick call a college game last weekend with Bob Wischusen, and he’s extremely knowledgeable. Riddick would know which college players to draft and which NFL free agents to sign because he has watched them play and spoken to them as a game-day analysis.

I'm a Wisconsin man from the west side of the state. Obviously, I'm very partial to Green Bay, but it is a truly unique market in pro sports. Nothing even close to it. To go from the smallest market in all of sport to the largest is jarring. I wish someone would ask Rodgers if he missed Green Bay, the city - not the Packers, but the city of Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers will probably never find peace. He is a searcher, and I do respect that about him. But I have often wondered if he wouldn't have found his bliss had he settled down with a good Wisconsin woman and had a family and made a permanent life in Green Bay. As for the Jets? They are only two games behind Denver for the 7th seed. They really can turn things around. 9-8 could get them in. That may sound daunting, but the Bills are the only winning team left on their schedule. They really could run the table - or close to it. Go Pack!

JUST RUN THE EFFING BALL AARON
@Viking_367Күн бұрын
The run game starts to fizzle out every week with a few good runs here and there. That's one of the reasons they are always in 3rd and long. Then what happens is they are forced to call an intermediate pass play, and that makes it very easy for a defense to defend, knowing it's coming. These are also plays that require at least 3-4 seconds of protection, so the pass concepts can develop down field, and Aaron gets moved off his spot or sacked in every one of those situations. Then they convert to quick pass and screen because thats all this team can execute from the playback, making them even less dimensional and predictable for D coordinators. I don't like criticizing these people. What they do is hard, but the O line has rarely put a good series of plays together all year
@migusto1812Күн бұрын
You can’t run the ball when your down 2+ touchdowns
@BKKhyanКүн бұрын
Breece should be running it 20+ times a game. Run first and foremost, pass second. That should be our identity and stick with it. Defense should be mixing up pressures and blitzes more than not. This match zone BS with only 4 down lineman isn’t working. Choose that as our identity and stick with it. Run heavy, Blitz/pressure heavy done deal.
