If this is so, punch them in the throat. I have a deaf sister, but sadly, she couldn't come to terms with losing her hearing. Wouldn't learn sign, so no one else was taught to. Makes me very sad I cant have a convo with her w/out a phone or paper. Trying to find asl classes near me cause at least I communicate with someone if they needed it.

To everyone defending the lack of captions by saying he's signing the words; sign language changes everywhere, even between English speaking countries. AUSLAN and ASL, for example, are completely different languages, so this video is near impossible for a deaf person from literally anywhere except the US to understand. Imagine if BuzzFeed released a video in Japanese or French for an English speaking audience and when people pointed out that an English speaking audience can't understand the video the retort was "but he's literally SPEAKING the words!"
