I have been able to 3d print successfully with.065" Rhino Tuff trimmer line. I have seen more tendency to warp in some cases. I store it inside the car which tends to get hot by solar heating.

Is it that twisty yellow stuff? Perhaps the warping could be due to irregular feeding?

If your trimmer string is 1.65mm which is the typical size I encounter you'll want about 112% to 113% extrusion.

Might do an extrusion test with it at 100 and 120mm like with any new filament. I dove into the 3d pond about a year ago, and love it.

Interesting vid, thx! I dont use nylon in my BLX1CC much (ever). Too much of a PITA on my 6-7 year old pimped out ender3 with limited success. Kinda glad I don't need to print nylon👍but also glad I have the tool to do so if needed. Won't be using weedeater tho, like you said... I dont know what additives they use, could put out seriously toxic byproducts when heated.

Yeh, if you're going to try it, use an enclosed and vented printer.
