I feel the same about the pandemic. We are still home. My daughter hasn't gone out, my husband goes to work, & I leave once a week for essentials. I'm watching cases exponentially rise in my area, private school reopened & an entire class had to quarantine because someone sent their sick kid, etc. I'm just trying to keep myself centered. I am no longer on FB because I couldn't take it. I put my phone away at a certain time each evening. It's a lot. But I have to value my health more than a need to go shop or whatnot. Luckily, my close friends are living the same way, so I have people to talk to about it.

My youngest son is a senior and it's just so much with schooling etc. We chose to continue with him being home schooled but he's been home the entire time and it's definitely affecting us. I already suffer depression and anxiety, so I had to start back with therapy and antidepressants.

I love the look Nyma. I'm a very deep dark complexion and I just love the makeup that is FINALLY available for us deep dark chocolate women. I mainly use Fenty and Mented cosmetics, along with Morphe eye palettes. BTW, I'm a California girl that had to move to Alabama 9 years ago and I hate it here. I miss California, but I'm going to have to learn to deal with the South for now!

The rebranding Of KVD isn’t working so far. As long as the name is “KVD” it will forever be associated to Kat Von D. And it really doesn’t help that a lot of subscriptions have put them in boxes around the same time the rebranding started and the products said Kat Von D. You can also find them in Marshall’s, Ross, TJ Maxx. They will do better to change the name.

they do, they are having huge sales with massive reductions (they never had that when kat von d was still the brand) since MONTHS to get rid of their stock. they should have addressed that early on, but a few weeks ago they did and they confirmed what many have been thinking - they just have/had too much leftover packaging and product with the old name on it. their sales must have dropped a ton when the anti vax drama happened so they probably had way too much produced. should they throw tons of makeup away? of course not, especially when they are branded as vegan now which implies a certain attention to environmental issues (as one would hope).

I am also a homebody but this is completely different. This has made me realize I’m not as much of an introvert as I thought. The beginning of the pandemic was awful mentally and then I feel like it got better as I settled it. I decided to buy from kvd once she left because the lock it foundation literally had the perfect match for me! It's the only foundation for me that has that match! They're finally starting to rebrand the packaging and im honestly happy about it. The boycott worked so I'm happy to vote with my money and buy the products again as long as I'm interested in them!

She's an active anti-vaxxer. Her and along with a lot more celebrities (Jessica Biel, Jim Carrey, Jenny McKarthy etc) use their platform to spread false information about vaccines which contributes the large increase in cases of preventable infectious illnesses that we've seen over recent years. All of these celebrities who are anti-vax have access to quality healthcare when ever they need. So when their children get ill they can AFFORD to pay for healthcare, whereas their fans who believe them most likely can't and consequently children are dying from preventable illnesses. While they're in their million dollar households they aren't exposed to regions with low vaccine rates and have absolutely no clue what society would be like without vaccines. Look at Samoa, in 2019 they had a measles epidemic where children were dying. The government implemented a vaccination campaign in which 95% of eligible Samoans got vaccinated, resulting in a substantial decrease in cases. These anti-vaxxers are trash. She's trash.
