I bought this machine and it is built like a tank. I love it. Also I would like to thank you for your videos and hard work. There customer service is also really good . They get right back to you immediately. They are on a different time zone so you have to message at night. Which can be expected with the time difference ❤

They are actually working on dust shoe and they do have 4th axis to but do to the holidays things like shipping and imports are moving slow. So they told me that they will be available maybe within the next month or so. Hopefully soon because I love this machine. It is very rigid and capable of pretty much anything you throw at it. I loved the video you always do the best at describing the machine you are using. Thank you Aurora ❤ maybe if you get the other accessories I would love to see another video in the future with the MPG and 4th axis and dust shoe

Excellent review; machine seems like a good value. Too bad Nymo only ships to the US. I would also consider the flat ribbon cable to the controller a con, I'd like something more solid in a production environment.

It looks like you can push material-removal-rate (feed-rate and/or depth-of-cut) much higher on 6061. The router and workholding are rigid enough that I didn’t notice any chatter. The spindle motor doesn’t stall, and it sounds like the rpm barely dips. P.S. If you do, watch out for exploding cutters!

All right, a 4mm 1 flute bit for aluminium may take 2mm @9000mm.mn feed @24.000rpm if the machine is good. 3000mm.mn is way below the bit's specs. Please note the abreviation for minute is "mn". The abreviation "m" stands for meters. So 3000mm.m makes no sense: 3000 millimeters per meters ?!? Interesting review by the way. Thanks.

The thickest material one could cut through would be half the z-travel (120mm)??? So roughly 60mm or slightly less for clearance of the tool over the part? Not worrying about tool deflection of such a long tool, could you create a sub-platform for the machine that is at least 120mm tall and drop the bed by 120mm to get a full depth of cut as the z travel?

Can I ask what specific end mill you are using on your aluminum/brass test? I have the same machine and spindle but am not getting very clean results using a 2-flute (uncoated, up-cut) carbide mill. If I match your feeds & speeds, my end mill still gums up with aluminum even at 0.25 mm depth of cut. I can't quite tell from the video - but it looks like a TiN (or ZrN) coated 0-flute end mill. Is that correct? What brand is it? Many thanks.

On a head to head with the Genmitsu ProVerXL 6050, as a first time machine... which one would you suggest and why (against the Nymolabs NBS 6040)?

Thanks guys, another excellent review. Nymolabs price is too high. Also, can the Nymolabs CNC run on both 110v and 240v? Was not on your video.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether this machine is as good or better than the Genmitsu 6060 version of the new 4030 V2? I'm having a ton of problems getting the Genmitsu to work and am debating sending it back to SainSmart. But what to buy?! Thanks. Super review as always - you have a great channel. Have you considered doing any comparisons? It would help us decide what to buy. Best, Mark

Hey guys, I have the same experience, bought and returned it. considering the cost-effectiveness, the troublesome assembly, and concerns about the overall mechanical stability, I ultimately returned the extension kit and the machine. thanks to the overall machine is not rigid enough, the unstable closed-loop motor cannot exert any effect, anyway, closed-loop gimmicks outweigh practicality.

My 2 cents, I bought Genmitsu 4040-Pro, returned, as I felt I needed smth stronger. Bought 4030v2, returned as 2 days after playing at home, not even single job run! Z-limit switch broke, Z axis started shuddering, Genmitsu said 1-2 weeks to get Z-limit switch + for the shuddering issue they don't know and actually THEY told me to return it :)

Hi, can't make decision between cr-10 se and kobra 2 pro,they're now on sale,so i will definitely go with one of them,what's the difference in print quality and how big it is? Which can be faster? Thanks for the reviews and close comparisons :)

@@AuroraTech Have you done any tests with that 4th axis working with aluminum?
@AuroraTech
@AuroraTech 3 ай бұрын
No, I didn't. If the length of the cylinder is around 50-60mm or shorter, I think it should be fine. However, if it's 100mm or longer, the clamping force of the 4-axis may not be sufficient. Additionally, you may need to use a 0.1mm step down, as the stock is only supported on one side.

Not sure that's true - building from scratch can still cost $1000 due to high metal costs. Even my 3d printed Root 3 CNC cost $600. When you look at the competition OneFinity/Avid/Shapeoko/etc they are all much more expensive. So among the chinese offerings, I think this is competitive.
