Such is Independent Contractor work aka self employed or as if you were doing your own business. You just need to provide tax ID for tax collecting/tracking. If not SS, you can also get tax ID. It's a business any9ne can do to promote economy

@@mysteriousjzlol yes it’s actually easy, depending on what kind of work they’re doing. I used to hire a guy to do lights for live music productions and I paid him as an independent contractor. Found out years later he had been giving me a fake SSN just so the 1099 couldn’t be tracked back to him. I didn’t know it at the time, but he was basically working tax-free. It will probably catch up with him when he gets older and goes to get social security and finds out he doesn’t have any work credits.

As a person who is very familiar with the process of obtaining work authorization cards there is no way for the federal government to streamline the migrants. There is already a backlog of applications for people who entered either legally or thru Asylum claims that it takes about six months for an application to be approved from the time it’s accepted. So now the city and state wants to skip the already long line because the migrants want to work. What about the people already waiting in line? Screw them?

I live in Brooklyn and you wouldn't believe how many motorcycles we have on our sidewalks going 25 miles an hour the wrong way of the street or in the park on pedestrian pathways. I have one step onto the sidewalk I don't know how many times I've walked out of my house and almost got hit by one of them

Why doesNY need to wait for Feds to expedite work permit when it already said that it will protect illegal immigrants! Why can’t NY just allow migrants to work exclusively in NY if there truly are more than a thousand jobs in NY?
