It’s not that bad. I take the subway all the time & never had any issues. You should definitely see the Statue of Liberty and while you are there check out Governor’s Island and the Brooklyn Bridge

Edit: Been taking subway since 2000. I’m actually more annoyed with the smell especially 34th & 8th Ave E & C uptown. Smell like 💩

@@Elkcib so, if you are riding the E train, was disregard the people that had died on train tracks for being pushed or slashed with knives or the weapon murders inside the trains? 74 street station is filled with crime,drunks sleeping on stairs even with the presence of police the jump the turnstiles which is a crime. In the 90’ people went to jail for evading paying.
