francis is great. He does not realise people want to see quo and all the older bands as they are not being replaced.Also what else would he do ,it gives him a purpose to get up

Always, now with age and experience, 100% honest. What get's me is people who have a go at him for being forthright and to the point. He's so right. Too many of his peers still caught up in the showbizzy lifestyle and full of their own self-importance. He has experienced it, lived it, seen it for what it is and risen above it

On the level has been my favourite over the years. I actually didn’t sit down and listen to it for over twenty years and it had lost nothing. A brilliant LP !

"Broken Man" "Over and Done" "Nightride" 3 of my fave tracks from "On the Level" album. I don't wait 20 years mate. I listen to most QUO music as often as I can, mainly on Spotify these days. I disperse their songs among other Lists and Genres. One album I totally avoid is "Perfect Remedy" it only has one good track on it. That is "The Power of Rock and Roll" "Ain't Complainin'" has a couple of good songs "Back to Back" only has a couple of quality songs. "Rock 'til You Drop" is a brilliant album, one that Alan and John would respect.

If Francis keeps playing music because he loves it , fans will keep listening because we love it too. Doesn’t matter what you look like , it matters what you sound like ❤

These elder statesmen are still pounding it out to thosands of fans because....they are musicians! They are talented, they can play their instruments....unlike the computer driven, over produced nobodies who dominate the current 'pop' scene. Rock on lads.

I just like how straight talking Francis is and I do hope that he continues playing live and making a new Quo album because I recently saw a recent interview with him where was considering if Quo will still exist in 18 months time after his current commitments are over I guess how his health is then will help him decide wether to continue or not !
@dirkheyer19614 күн бұрын
Hey Christopher. Good comment. I don't believe, that they stop playing. Maybe 15 - 18 gigs in a year on festivals. But a new album? I don't think so. There are enough songs, they never put on an album, I suppose. Let's wait for the next surprise.

@@dirkheyer196 In a time when concert tickets are getting ridiculously expensive I’d like to give praise to Francis Rossi and his management for only charging the amazing bargain fee of £33 for their gig this summer at Dreamland , Margate 👍👋👋👋👋👋

It doesn’t matter what the artist thinks. The artist has recorded the music and given it to the listener. From that point it no longer belongs to Francis. It’s us who buy the record. It’s us who keep him famous. It’s us who determine which record is the best, regardless of what Francis thinks. I mean, he might like a particular record, but if nobody buys it then what does it matter? I like the earlier heavy stuff. That’s been part of my life for over 50 years. Nothing Francis says is going to change that 🙂.

Musicians should never underestimate the positive effect of a record/ single. ie One female fan told Debbie Harry that one of her songs stopped her killing herself. Debbie hugged her.

Grew Up Out Of Music ? I've been into Quo a long time i'm 58 I went and saw Motorhead in 2006 and a week or two later saw a girl who was a Motorhead fan when I was at school I told her i'd been and seen them and she told me she had grown out of them years ago ??? very sad if you think you have to not like a certain music because you have got older :( As soon as you turn 20 Oooo no can't listen to that band anymore crazy it's them bands that keep us young in mind but not in heart

Loved him years ago but has become a bizarre chap full of bitterness & I think Rick Parfitt envy. Rick will be the image of Quo once everything is is gone. Rick was a Star 💫 & deserved as much respect from Rossi as Brian May does towards Freddie. You never get the Queen members shitting over Freddie Mercury unlike Rossi with all the other members of Quo. He also talks utter nonsense.

Your right Rossi, there are better players around. There are two tribute bands around that are so much better than your current Rossi band. Quo was not about you, the strength of Quo was the four piece set up. You come across embarrassing in interviews. I used to love you in Quo. You almost have become anti Quo.
