B side Gerdundula awesome track also, so grateful to have been around in the sixties and seventies, in the charts around the same time Voodoo Chile, Black Night, Woodstock, Ride a White Swan, I Hear You Knocking, Whole Lotta Love, Paranoid, When I’m Dead and Gone, happy days never see their like again 😢✌️🤘…

I was only 5 ,rocking all over the world, well in the living room with my action man, general Custer figurine, my stingray model, and the man from uncle radio set, great days I really, genuinely, deeply, sadly miss, the world seemed a better place, the 60,s, 70,s and 80,s were the best music years, so many super groups from the Beatles, the searchers, black sabbath, deep purple, quo, the sweet, sparks even abba, where did it all go wrong, oh yeah, rap and house music, and techno, ruined the following years for me utter garbage, it’s funny, we can sing along and whistle along to these songs from 50 plus years ago yet I cannot name any decent music to sing a long to after this time period, loved the up,old, please can we have some more? Many thanks for your time and effort all the best from Norman in 🏴

I actually watched Alan Lancaster dozens of times in Sydney when he was with the Party Boys, and I didn't even know he was the famous Status Quo bassist! What an idiot. SQ were the first band I saw live. At the Hordern Pavilion when I was a kid.

Still got the original single in the loft, at that time Quo were a seriously classy blues rock band, they were in the ring with Peter Green era Fleetwood Mac and Canned Heat. Francis Rossi sounds like a blues singer on this and many of the songs on Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon and the brilliant Dog Of Two Head. Brilliant live band as well.
