Anxiety second episode was H Pylori then I put antibiotics. it was diagnosed just last year. So Pylori is gone without ulcer. Now antibiotics messed up my stomach microbiomes. Last month primary physician put me on nystatin suspension orally for 4 times a day. Competed my courses. It change nothing with my oral thrush. Now started for Fluconazole 200mg for 14 days. I have some improvements but its not gone yet but my brain fog and anxiety decreasing day by day. But I strictly follow healthy diet and I cut completely all carbs. Hi, I'd like to thank you for your old videos. They helped me to get started with Nystatin, at least. My doctor prescribed me tablets and a suspension, if you know what I mean, but I hesitated to take it. Got severe anxiety problems, too. - One question: Did you have to take a kind of purgative to clean the guts as well? Now, it's good to see you're back! Get well soon.

Hi Titus, you bet! I’m glad they helped! It’s just nice to know someone else is going through it. Sorry to hear about your anxiety, it’s brutal. That’s a great question. And no, no purgative was used. I’m pretty sure the intent of the diet was used for that purpose. No sugar, fermented drinks / foods, no cured meats, no processed foods. Not have any of that for 2 weeks I think was enough to effect the gut’s bacteria. Just think about how you eat and them how quick you have to go to the bathroom. The stomach / intestines work fast! Perhaps it’s worth trying for yourself? Although certainly follow your doctors orders. I hope you feel better. It’s no fun,..if you have any questions please come back. You’ll get better! Just kept trying and thnaks for asking a question. It will help somebody going through it!

@ZeroStateReflex
@ZeroStateReflex 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Ambrosia, I'm so sorry to hear that. Panic attacks are the worst. There could be so many things that could be causing your panic attacks, although definitely ask your doctor if what you're doing could be making, or causing you to have more panic attacks. I don't recall having worse panic attacks while taking Nystain, though everyone's body is different. One thing you could try to do is don't take anything with caffeine or stimulants while you are using Nystatin. Give your body a chance to clear the candida out of your gut. Maybe that will help, I hope you feel better and just try to stay as positive as you can. If you do find something that helps please stop by and let me know. You could help someone just by leaving a comment on what you found out.

At what point after the Nystatin treatment did you notice improvement? I mean any kind like when did your white tongue disappear. When did you stop having anxiety?
@ZeroStateReflex
@ZeroStateReflex 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Jordan, for the Nystatin, if I remember correctly it was around day 5 / 6 when I didn't have such bad body aches. I don't think I was checking my tongue. The anxiety dissipated slowly over time. All in all it took about 2 years to feel "normal," or not have anxiety attacks out of the blue. Looking back my body was under a lot of stress, I was drinking a lot, which I think threw my gut out of whack. Which is why I started the Nystatin. I think the idea was to get my body back in balance and then hopefully my mind would follow. I was doing things for my mind at the time too. Meditation was really helpful. Was 20 minutes once a week. I don't know what was causing what,...was my body causing the anxiety? Or was my anxiety causing my body issues? It's always hard to untangle, we're so damn complex as humans. Anyway, it may be that your anxiety, if you're having issues is related to your body, (i.e. your gut) and if you address that and it doesn't help, you may have to then address your mind. It all works together and as mentioned can be hard to isolate. Addressing the body can be the easiest way first though. Get your body as healthy as you can. Exercise, get good sleep, try to minimize alcohol, caffeine and sugar intake. Once you have that under control, (just do the best you can), then you can try to address your mind. Are you depressed? Worried a lot? These are a little harder to address, though I was going to counseling for the couple years too which really helped. I hope you have the resources to do that if you can. Hopefully that helps! Either way I hope you can make some progress. Small changes over time can really help.

Great question. I believe it helped, though I didn't have an objective test to actually tell me that. The symptoms I had (white tongue, anxiety,..) were indicative of a candida overgrowth so I was prescribed Nystatin to treat it. Nystatin is used to treat candida overgrowth and it does work, along with treating thrush. I had multiple symptoms all kinda working together I think.

I forgot to ask one thing, what exams do you recommend to check if our gut is back to normal?
@ZeroStateReflex
@ZeroStateReflex 3 жыл бұрын
If you have oral thrush (white tongue) you should see an improvement, whereas your tongue does not have a white coating after treatment. A doctor can help you determine that. I know you can get stool tests, though I didn't pursue that. It's hard because "back to normal" is very subjective to your own body. I don't think there's a standard "gut" biology for everyone. It depends on a lot of factors for each person. Diet, genetics, environment, etc,... I think by what you mean as "normal" is if you feel good, and or don't have stomach issues that keep you from living a normal life (lol, "normal" life). I do know that diet can have a massive impact on people's health. If there's one thing I would check out it would be your diet. If you can it might be worth seeing a nutritionist. A good example is I live in Seattle and because of all the overcast skys we need more Vitamin D. Something as simple as that can have a big effect. If you do find a exam that can tell you more about your gut health please come back and let me know! I'd love to understand my gut health better. Cheers and I hope you feel better and everything goes well! Thank you for your questions. They could really help someone in the future.

Were you taking a probiotic while on Nystatin?
@ZeroStateReflex
@ZeroStateReflex 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Aimee, I did try probiotics for awhile,..I don't think I was taking them while on Nystatin though remember trying them. Though when I did some research into probiotics I found that probiotics are still dubious in terms of the benefits they offer. In that everyone's gut is different and probiotics only have certain bacterial strains in them. There doesn't seem to be "one probiotic fits all" if you know what I mean. Because every human has different gut bacteria I couldn't tell if taking them would be helpful...plus they were expensive. I think just eating yogurt would be beneficial for bacteria in your gut. Had I been able to measure what bacteria I was needing and find the probiotic that had that particular strain perhaps I would have continued. If you've had a different experience with probiotics please let me know, I couldn't definitely learn more about it!

Hi, have you been on Nystatin treatment for the past 3 years? also did you think was more relevant to your result the diet or the nystatin? i am on the same nystatin treatment :)
@ZeroStateReflex
@ZeroStateReflex 3 жыл бұрын
Hello Citizen5. Nope, since I did that one treatment, which is shown in the video series I haven't been back. I think everything has an impact. If you clean up your diet, so to speak (no alcohol, processed foods, etc) it will help your biology for sure. When I was prescribed the Nystatin I had been going to multiple doctors to try and figure out what was wrong with me. I think the candida overgrowth was from a bad diet, stress, and drinking to much alcohol. I was badly coping with a lot of stress at that time. My main issue was anxiety symptoms. Panic attacks and a general just unease. It took quite awhile for my body to "calm down" i.e. my anxiety symptoms slowly receded. I don't think Nystatin solved all my problems at once. Nystatin is solely used as an antifungal. If you're taking Nystatin for a fungal issue it will work well. Although a fungal outbreak can happen again. Everyone's body is different so you really just have to experiment and pay attention to what's effecting your body. I think for most people your diet can have a big impact so that's one easy way to see if what you're putting in your body is working for, or against you. I hope that helps and you feel better!
@fightforfreedom21
@fightforfreedom21 3 жыл бұрын
@@ZeroStateReflex There are different types of candida overgrow, usually candida is located in the intestine. Oral suspension of Nistatin is prescribed for those who have oral trush (a type of candida overgrow) because it's inhibited by the stomach acid and so can't arrive to the intestine (this is the reason why there is the nistatin pills version which can get through the intestine). So do you think you had oral trush or your tongue was perfectly normal and you had more digestive problems that maybe would suggest you had candida overgrow in the intestine? In addition, usually candida overgrow occurs when there is an immuno suppression (the majority of the time is because of a viral infection, like EBV etc..) or and antibiotic treatment (dysbiosis of the microflora, but i think this is less common). From what you have described, like you anxiety symptoms, maybe you got the Lyme infection.
@ZeroStateReflex
@ZeroStateReflex 3 жыл бұрын
@@fightforfreedom21 holy shit that's some good analysis. Best I've heard in these years so far. Alright, so I think I had both thrush, (mouth, white tongue) and intestinal (doc mentioned white tongue and speculated on intestinal I think), based on what you've described. Assuming the alcohol consumption (fermentation) and high cortisol from persistent stress (immune suppressant) were working in tandem perhaps (?). My specific symptoms escalated from derealization, to panic attacks to a persistent "buzz" feeling in my nervous system, (generalized anxiety) which subsided after a couple years. I was doing multiple treatments at the same time, so hard to really objectively nail down what worked. Nystatin could have just passed through me,..I don't have a test to validate it. I can't see those symptoms manifesting by Lyme disease though. Is there a reason you suggest that?

@@ZeroStateReflex Hey! glad to know you are feeling better. I know this is an old video but Im feeling the same. What worked for you in terms of derealization? Did the nystatin cure this? what was the thing that helped the most? Thank you!!
@ZeroStateReflex
@ZeroStateReflex Жыл бұрын
@@TomasCordoba11 thank you! And you ask some great questions. That is an indication to me that you're going to figure out whatever you're going through. Will answer your questions one at a time: • What worked for you in terms of derealization? My derealization was happening at the peak of my anxiety. Mostly at work and subsided when I quit my job. The derealization was a massive warning sign I think. Meaning I think we can all have anxiety to some extent. Though if your anxiety is creating panic attacks at some point it will evolve into derealization. The derealization scared the shit out of me as I'd never experienced that. So that's what prompted me to quit my job and seek help. I think when I left my job it took a massive amount of stress off my shoulders which helped my mind / pysche to relax enough so it stopped. I was doing a lot of things to figure out what was happening. Counseling, diet, (nystatin) doctors, psychiatry, everything I could think of. • Did the nystatin cure this? No. I don't think so,..I can't unfortunately say, "doing nystatin did X" because our bodies and minds are so complicated. I think doing the nystatin helped insomuch as perhaps it did help my gut bacteria balance out (less candida) which affected my brain, which affected my psyched,.etc. It's really hard to say one thing did one effect. Everything in combination helped over time. One thing I would say is NEVER GIVE UP. You might try something and not see it's effects for a couple weeks,..just keep going. We're getting to used to "I need this, give me a pill" I did try a couple of medications and the effects were so bad I quit them immediately. You have to be willing to experiment (safely of course) and see what works. I do know mediation did help a lot. It was 20 minutes of sitting silently in a group once a week. It was the only time I actually felt calm. • what was the thing that helped the most? I'll try to keep this brief DO NOT GIVE UP (it might take awhile, just keep going..just keep going..just keep going) BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF (ok, you're in a bad state..breathe,..keep going, keep experimenting, you'll figure it out) IT TOOK TIME TO GET THAT WAY, IT'S GOING TO TAKE TIME TO GET OUT OF IT (similar to be patient,.baby steps, make a little progress) FIND SOMETHING MORE MEANINGFUL THAN YOURSELF (at our core, if we have something to live for that's more important than our suffering it's much easier to get out of it). This one's a little existential though it worked for me. I started using photography to go outside more, get used to people,..photography became more important than the anxiety which lessened the anxiety. The problem with anxiety is it consumes you so that's all you think about. You have to force it away with other things. I hope that helps and hopefully just one thing in there clicks for you. I believe in you because you're here asking questions. You're going to make it and do great things. And when you make it out you'll help other people by teaching them just like I am. Please come back if you have any thoughts, or find something that works! It may help someone else! Cheers and be safe, and good luck.

@ZeroStateReflex 4 жыл бұрын
Hello Miguel, lowering cortisol, if your cortisol levels are high because of stress, is one of the best ways you can help your body. First thing you need to do is reduce your stress levels. 1. Exercise for at least 20 minutes a day. Just take a walk if you need to. 2. If your stress levels are high and you can't figure out what to do, talk to a counselor. If you can. 3. Meditation. Sit quietly for 20 minutes a day. There are local meditation meetups you can find online. I hope that helps! Stay positive!
