I must say this interview was extremely absorbing - I always liked Al Pacino‘s work (so soulful and genuine). In this interview, mr. Pacino comes off as a really nice man. We always wonder about that when we watch these people on the screen so large. Are they nice people in real life? I don’t know but I’ll go to lunch with Mr. Pacino any day of the week.

It's so AWFUL when young people interview an iconic artist. He started the interview with I started watching Al Pacino in the 90s.. by that point his career was for the most part over. This is a great actor of the 70s.. the godfather 1 + 2, dog day afternoon and serpico was the period when he peaked.. and he was extraordinary. It would have been nice if someone in their 50s or 60s interviewed him. oh well..

I find it rather sad that the NYT is so irrelevant now that they can talk to AL PACINO, and he is sharing a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE, and they can't get more than 16k views? I was excited to listen to this interview but quickly found the interviewer quite disrespectful to Pacino to be honest in many instances. Found myself screaming in the car, why are you phrasing it like that! The whole dance monkey bit and asking him to read a line 3 different way… like cmon! It’s just not something actors are comfortable with. It’s cringy to us. He’s talking about finding the truth in his work and your like perform for me.. show me what you got Pacino.. (and I get that the interviewer was trying to be all buddy buddy with him and keep it light) I just found it in poor taste.

I must say, I love Al P. And his perspectives of acting and personal development, but he seems as if going up a flight of stairs may be nearly impossible, so going the distance for procreating would be quite a feat. Also, it is arrogant to have a child at his age - for the benefit of the child, with monetary endowment aside. When asked if having a new child at his age was a way of coping with his mortality, he gave NO ANSWER, a non-thinking response. It’s disagreeable.
