Do i have to take sat test for getting in nyu?🌸

The NYU website has a listed expiration date for the test optional, which I believe is this year. Next year I think you will need to submit an SAT or ACT score. Even if it was optional next year, I would strongly recommend taking one of those tests to see if you get a good score (within the fiftieth percentile range of the accepted applicants, a statistic you can find via google search) and if you do get a score you like, submit it. Colleges, especially but not exclusively STEM focused colleges, want to see that you’re capable of taking a longer test in the format of the SAT/ACT, something you will most likely be required to do in your time studying there. I don’t recommend skipping the test, because you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
