So glad you posted this. I feel like a lot of youtubers really wanted to hate on it because they sold their souls to Anastasia. I knew it was a great product from personal use then Jordan Liberty made a video on it too and he's a very well-respected working makeup artist so I couldn't understand why youtubers were knocking it. It's nice to see someone speak about it with such understanding about the product and what contour shades should look like.

I love how soft and natural your contouring is! I'm all for doing makeup in the way that you love, so I don't knock anyone who is into the heavier looks, but this is more my personal style and it seems harder to find on YT. Thanks for this!

I am SO in love with this palette! I got the Anastasia one and returned it because the colors just didn't work for me but this is a perfect color range! I did a review and demo as well and used it with the new Real Techniques sculpting brush... if you don't have that brush yet, you need it! ;)

Thank you so much for doing this video for us fair skinned gals. It is very hard to find products for contouring and highlighting for very light skin. The contour shades can tend to look to muddy or dirty and the highlights never show up on my skin. I would say that my skin is same tone as yours since we both use the same foundation colors. I really want to get a bit more into contouring and highlighting but I never could find anything to suit my skin tone. I will definitely be picking up the palette asap. Thanks again. This was very helpful.

Years ago I bought the coastal scents contouring palette after you demo'd it and honestly I don't think I ever used it. I kinda just use bronzer and highlighter.

This palette actually looks more usable than some of the more expensive ones. Plus right now NYX is having a buy one get one 50% off on ULTA. I love this product! I saw it at Ulta when it first came out and I didn't know that everyone wanted one, luckily I got my hands on the last one. I love the banana colored shade and since I'm a medium shade I mix the banana with the lighter matte highlight so it's extra light. It brightens and sets my under eye beautifully. I tend to pack it on so make sure you be careful because it can get cakey! Also the bronzer/contour shades are beautiful. I find that the colors are all flattering and not too orangey but they are warmer colors. I use the deepest shades to contour my cheek bones because I'm a fan of that really dramatic contour! The only con I have about this product is that if you're not careful you can pick up a lot of product and this stuff is PIGMENTED so you have to blend blend blend. Not the biggest fan of the shimmery highlight colors but this is coming from someone who loves the most intense/pigmented highlighters *cough* becca shimmering skin perfectors lol I recommend!

Ikr?! I was so disappointed when I saw a lot of people that I really like on youtube talk so down about it. They even said it was so bad they wouldn't even do a review on it at all. I bought it as soon as it came out and loved it and was just waiting to hear others opinions. I was so confused when I saw almost everyone hated it. Hey Tiffany , with these types of videos, it would really help if you can tone down the brightness and zoom in a little bit more so that we can see better:) You are pretty washed out and that made it hard to see everything :) Besides that, I really liked it:)
