I have this palette and I was wondering why everyone was bashing it on KZbin and I thought I was the only crazy person that actually thought this was a great palette ..... I agree... it's not drastically different from so many of the bronzers or contour shades people like to use, and they're definitely pigmented. While I love the texture & packaging of my Smashbox kit- I could still probably pull off the same look out of both palettes. It's not like some products where the high end might seem worlds away from the drugstore version, you know? thanks for watching, Jessie!

I followed a different tutorial on Sunday and was disappointed with the result and then was regretting buying this pallette; but then I followed this tutorial the next day and I love it! I've been doing it for the past 3 days. I have a darker skin tone, but it still works for me :)

Emily, everything you do is perfection. I love exactly how in depth your reviews are, and how you seem to look at everything with such a deep sense of practicality. Everything from pigmentation, quality, price, packaging, travel-friendlyness, and comparsions to other popular comparable products are covered in your reviews and I can't tell you how much I (and the rest of your viewers!) appreciate it. It's so lovely to hear such refreshing and honest feedback from someone as gorgeous inside and out as you are. On another note, I've noticed you often mentioned that you look for good, blendable shades of "the perfect brown" or "the perfect black" in pallets. Would you ever consider making a video comparing some of these browns/blacks from different pallets. I personally know I'd be willing to splurge a little bit extra if I knew I was getting an extremely workable and versatile color out of a kit/pallet/single. Thanks!

NYX is really bringing it this season. I've seen so many great reviews on their lip, eye and face products. I actually did the side lip tip during your tutorial lol and it worked really well. Have seen a lot of techniques but yours is the most effective. Love how you used this entire palette, it's a must have for me.

I loved ulta when I went stateside last, wish we would get it here, canadian dollar is so low right now its definitely not worth a trip to the states for shopping.

Hi Emily, great video as always......have seen so many people having nothing but bad things to say about this NYX palette....but your reviews are always so honest and fair ! I also love how you said "know your face" so many you-tubers 'go through the motions' of so much product - even when most times they absolutely do not need to work that hard, maybe for a photo shoot, but not in real life, it can sometimes be so severe and harsh......I have always multi-tasked my products as I don't have tuns of makeup, so I was so pleased to see you recommend we do the same with this palette, makes sense......LOVE your videos, so informative...can't wait for your haul video.....thank you for your time xxx

I picked this up today. I chose this one because I'm new to contouring and it's priced cheap enough to "play" with it. So far, I like it. I can see why the other beauty gurus, picked it apart, but most of them are used to the super amazing high end ones. So of course, this one will fall short. But for those who want to learn to do this, this is a great pallet.

I like the tip to "know your face". My nose just looks bigger if I do the standard contouring. I've found it better to do a light dusting of matte bronzer on my nose where most people highlight, works better. Gives me that "tan" look; when we tan our noses get the color first!
