One thing I love about this game is genocide route is that actually kinda has a reason for existing the whole point of the one from the original game is that you’re the one doing it because you want to see what happens but in this one it’s more personal to the character of Clover they’re doing it because they want revenge and this highlights that It also makes a point that humans are dangerous and kind of proves his point humanity already won, and now clover went down to the underground. I personally don't like how Axis is shaking. He's not afraid in this fight, Hell I'd argue he's the bravest character in all Undertale, and he carries that into this fight. Music is solid though.

I’d say he’s both scared and brave in this fight. Brave enough to face you even in a damaged state, but still fearful of your “cannon of death” to bring his own weapon. So I think the shaking works here

I always looked at that more as the difference between fearlessness and bravery, if he was fearless, he'd be a dumbass (like a lot of Genocide fights often go lol). He's brave enough to fight us, but intelligent enough to realize he's not a powerhouse to take us on without a shield. But again, that's an interesting take I hadn't thought of before, fair play to you.
