Awesome conversation with Fonseca. Leadoff is still one thing I'm wondering how it plays out. Does Judge move back to 2 or stay at 3? Something like a JD/Jazz/Judge/Belli/Stanton/Goldy/Wells looks pretty formidable. I still think Volpe can get back up top as well. Looking forward to this spring training.

Before I even watch this video, Mets haven’t won anything in like 40 years, and both their championships were flukes… being called the “miracle Mets” in ‘69, and having Buckner’s error steal your glory in ‘86 doesn’t really say “I run this city” to me.

Not to mention that Soto won’t be their savior. He’s not even the best player in NY.

First thing I have to say. Is, history. History speaks for itself. Two we the Yankees have accomplished everything so much that it's gonna take maybe 100 years or another lifetime for any team in baseball to even get close. Three, We don't have to win a championship for the next 100 years. Think hard about that. There is no team in history or ever gonna get close. We have cemented something that will never happen again. Facts my friends. ❤

Exactly right! They see us as a rival and we’ve never seen them as the same so they do so much to instigate the response from our fans then claim it’s proof of a rivalry when it’s just us saying shut up in mass

Derek, I have a fair question to ask. With what the Dodgers are doing, the luxury tax, going rate for player salaries, tv deals, merchandise, endorsements, etc….is it fair to say that the Dodgers aren’t to blame? Owners are cashing in BIG TIME. Of course some markets than others. However, let’s face reality….these owners are BILLIONAIRES. Some more than others obviously. As a fan in the bleachers drinking an overpriced soda and hotdog, we dont have sympathy, regardless of the team! Naturally even billionaires may have budgets, but sometimes are they truly strict?

Man, some of these comments below reek of the clueless and just plain ignorance, don't they? As far as this whole dumb "Big Brother" thing goes, the truth is that both New York teams have been the "Big Brother" at certain times in history. Now, if "Big Brother" means "most popular at the time" then yes, both take that title - the Yankees from 62 - 68, The Mets from 69 - to say mid 70s, the Yankees from mid 70s to let's be safe and say 85, the Mets from 85 - 91, the Yankees from 94 - to well into the 2000s. The Yankees have been "Big brother" for a lot longer years, but the Mets have certainly been "Big brother" a good chunk of years as well. Anyone who tells you differently is just damn troll or hater. Both teams are built into the fabric of the city, but truth be told, the Mets right now are just riding a high, and give them credit. They had the best playoff ride last year,. Don't disagree because if you do, you're just being hateful. The fact is that there are just as many Yankee fans as there are Met fans in this city and the surrounding areas. The fact is both teams have provided some wonderful memories and historical games to their fandom (of course the Yankees are going to have more - they've been in existence for a hell of a lot longer). The fact is both teams have had shit blown up in their face and have had embarrassing moments. Both teams are institutions in the city. It's all bullshit some of these stupid points both Yankee and Met fans bring up. Just dumb and childlike to be honest. Both teams are beloved by their large fanbase. Both fanbases have talked mad shit to one another for years - both. Both are just as passionate - for goodness sake - the majority of both these fanbases are New Yorkers. Does one New Yorker scream louder than the other New Yorker - lol. Give it a rest with this shit. They are both awesome to have and the city wouldn't be the same if they weren't both here. End of story.

@Pinstripe Territory Derek Levandowski With only 54 more days left until Opening Day of the regular season! I think the Yankees have address their we got Max Fried takes the pressure off Gerrit Cole,Luis Gil,Carlos Ròdon and Clarke Schmidt in the rotation,Devin Williams is the best closer,Cody Bellinger will be at Center Field he will have a good season Aaron Judge can stay at right field permanently and Paul Goldschmidt can provide some good numbers at first base! Yankees lineup have the edge over the Mets lineup!

If the Yankees never won another World Series and the Mets win this year then kept winning titles at their current pace of once every 36 years it would take them about 900 years to just tie us at 27 titles. 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 . It would take the Astros even longer at their pace and would take even the dodgers 288 years to reach 27 at their title pace of two every 36 years. There’s been 120 years of MLB Yankees have have appeared in 41 World Series total and won 27. So if there’s a World Series being played historically speaking there’s a 30 percent chance it’s being played in the Bronx. But I digress 😂
