I was there for this recording. 15 yo and loving the Aussie music scene. Some great lunchtime free concerts at the Sydney Town back in the early '70s. Spectrum, La De Das, Company Caine, Carson County, Jeff StJohn and the Copper Wine, Blackfeather, Wendy Saddington. Great era in Oz rock

I’m here because their album “The Happy Prince”. In so much love with the track “Covered In Gold”. New Zealand really do have something different from US/UK mainstream back in 60s and 70s. I was so shocked when I first time hear it. Much appreciation to the great band The La De Da's. Love from China. Thank you guys for making such a GREAT music.

One of my very favorite bands from NZ. We would see them at the Village Green Hotel in Melbourne, Victoria around 1970-1. when aged 18 how privileged we were to see these class acts. Gunna See My Baby Tonight . All along the Watchtower. Kevin Borich. And also Blackfeather. They had the feel. so relaxed. They were our Jimmy Hendrix. Fantastic live music.
