If I remember the story behind this right, it wasn't planned for her to play. But she was at the show, so they brought her on stage. It'd been years since she shot that episode of course, so Bear's kinda guiding her from the next octave down. Then she gets in to the groove and has fun with it.

That is cool. But what are the odds she just happened to be there? I’m not a big believer in coincidence. Still, a great story. Love the show and love the music even more. In the pilot episodes (the two parts of episode 0 if you want), there's sprinkles of the song said in various scenes. So this song is literally infused into the story. @@kestrel929 This was a major concern of mine as well, and I have to wonder if Ronald Moore and David Eick could pull off today what they did with the political climate back then, showing both sides of the issues WITHOUT taking sides or overdoing it. I feel they started to stray from credible reality with the polygamous bed scenes in Caprica and the coed showers in the Plan, for example, but I would be curious to see how they would present SJW's alongside conservatives in the fleet, showing both passionate sides fighting it out. Transgenders would definitely be more convincing with Cylon technology, and perhaps it would amplify the perceived rightness or wrongness of what we're doing with that today. I just found this epic version of a classic song written by Bob Dylan I wonder if someone ever played this version for Bob without revealing which song it is how long it would take him to guess the title. 1st time I heard it not knowing what song it was until the lyrics started. hello oh my gosh this song was awesome before I knew what it is but now that I know what it is I'm even more impressed. I'm always Amazed and in awe of Bear McCrearys level of talents up there with Bach and Mozart. Is that his brother singing on the same stage? If so mom must be so proud of her sons working together to create such a masterpiece. I'D LIVE TO SEE BOB DYLAN WATCH THIS VIDEO AS A REACTION VIDEO TO GET HIS TAKE ON HOW BEAR REINTERPRETED & REINVENTED HIS song.

The first video, for me, when scrolling down to the comments is a BSG concert. Haven't clicked it yet so I'm not sure it's the same one lol

This rhythm gives the song an entirely different feel. So many other covers play it safe and stay too close to the original.

I never really care for covers but this is one of the best covers I've heard. So say we all.

One of the best climatic scenes of the series, and of all time.

Bear's arrangement of this song was genius. Brendan killed it on vocals!
