I’d be so freaking happy to receive this as a gift, I’d prob cry! A gift from your hard work and dedication, just for one person? Dang… my bf over more than 20 years asked me not to get him a gift so he didn’t have to get me one… and I cried asking to just have him please make me a card, so I had something to look forward to on Christmas. I know it’s for and about the kids when you get older, but I didn’t even want anything bought. I just love Christmas and wanted to feel cared for. That turned out beautiful! I keep picturing a resin/wood/pewter contraption with pewter (I've been obsessing with pewter lately for some reason) in the center and bamboo chopsticks, dyed with food coloring and tumeric, with the end of the chopsticks showing after you turn it. I bet that would make an interesting lamp too.

nice. hmm, got an idea when you lit it, a 5mm acrylic rod in the middle before pouring the epoxy. would probably make the light reach all the way up
