Nice build, where did you get that LCD screen?
@LogicalHardware2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The display is a 5 inch one from amazon, like this one: www.amazon.es/dp/B085NH27BT. Then a piece of 3mm plexi for the outer frame and another 2mm one on top.

This looks incredible! I am going to do this to mine with a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 3060 Ti, would you be able to explain/show how the Plexiglas you mentioned works into the LCD screen mount, how its wired (motherboard or something else?) and where/how you got software for the display on the screen? Thanks!!
@LogicalHardware2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, there's two pieces of plexi, one with the rectangle cut and painted in black for the screen and one on top of that. The screen is mounted to the plexi with a few drops of hot glue. Then the whole thing is fixed with some slim double sided tape where the PSU cover goes. That and the pressure from the front panel keeps it in place. The most important thing is the plexi needs to be 3mm (the one with the rectangle cut) and 2mm or it will not fit. The wiring is pretty easy, a 90º hdmi and an usb goes from the screen to the I/O and the gpu at the bottom, wired throuth the SSD mount space and some cable ties at the back. The software used is Aida64. The skin is a custom one I've made, very basic with some custom gauges and a background image.

Hi, great job with the build. Im planning on doing a similar build, but due to the deficiency in gpu's, I'm unable to get a fe 3060. Do you have any recommendations for GPU waterblocks that would work with any other type of 3060. Keep up the good work.
@LogicalHardware2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! For a 3060 ti you have some options. As far as I know, EVGA waterblocks for the 3070 are compatible with the 3060 ti. Corsair also has a compatible block for the Asus Strix 3060 ti. Same goes for Bykski or Barrow, with some models compatible. If you have an exact model in mind, we can help you find the waterblock for it.

Would this build work if you kept the 120mm radiator also? I'm wanting to do a similar build to this, but with soft tubing, with a 12900k and 3090 undervolted so it would be nice to have 360mm of radiators.
@LogicalHardware2 жыл бұрын
It could work, but I'm not 100% a 360mm in total would be enough for a 12900K and a 3090, even undervolted, tbh...

@LogicalHardware2 жыл бұрын
Why would you match a 5900x with a 3060 ti? You’d fall short on the GPU side by a lot. Also, not every build has to be with top of the line. So, 5600x and a 3060 ti is a good combo.
