I'm currently using the H9 Flow. The only reason I would have picked the H6 over this would be the I/O ports being right in front of the case. It's such a big plus by itself. Other than that, H9 is the better option in every single metric you can think of, if size is not an issue. It's by far the easiest case I've ever built a PC in. Extremely easy to cable manage, great airflow and fantastic build quality. One huge downside however, as mentioned in the video, is the absolute GARBAGE default case fans. They aren't even PWM. They're loud, low airflow DC fans. So make sure you have the budget to invest in some Arctic P12s or similar decent airflow fans.

While I like the smaller size of the H6, I dont see that it has anything over the H9 other than the angled fans being slightly better for cooling, but also I hate the look of that lol. H9 has more space, fits the radiator I also am looking at, and dust filters, which are an absolute necessity imo. Idk yet if im 100% sold on the H9 but I would definitely choose it over the H6

Hi, very good video, I wanted to ask you about the AIO. What is it that prevents the AIO from not fitting in the h6? I have a case that shouldn't fit either, it crashed with the motherboard and the rear fan and the screw holes didn't match, but I managed to mount the AIO. Sorry for Google tranlator.
@MercuryTV5 ай бұрын
imgur.com/a/cpCCfud I took this photo of inside the H9. The gap with the red arrow basically doesn't exist at all inside the H6, so my AIO was being jammed up against my motherboard's rear IO. The orange circle is actually the mark/dent I made trying to force it when I was building inside the H6. Had the overall fans+radiator been slimmer, it would have fit fine, but the Liquid Freezer series use a 38mm radiator vs most others which use a 30mm. Hope that helps.

no fan hub? thats a boomer, cheaper cases already have one. I totally agree H6 has more personality. Was doubting of the H9 or another brand. Might sound silly but the fan hub might lean me towards another brand
@Jack_Hunt5 ай бұрын
The H9 is HUGE! Like a fish tank. I agree not much character. I think whats really odd is the fans on the H9 aren't pointing at the board at all. They are facing away. Why would they do that? Most cases have FRONT fans pointing at the board, or in the H6 case, 45 degree hitting it from a different angle but the H9 points it away. How does that benefit it? Also can you tell me if you think the Fractal beats both of these? I am considering ALL 3 right now + the new ASUS ProArt PA602 case. Wondering if you had to place them in order which would be your top choice, second choice and third? Thanks great vid!
@MercuryTV5 ай бұрын
Honestly, yes, I think the Fractal Torrent is a much more unique build option than the H9 Flow. I don't regret moving to the AIO + dual chamber, but I am definitely keeping the Torrent around for next time I do an all air-cooled build. The 90 degree turn from those intake fans to the components is goofy for sure, but whether you believe it or not, my temps are still great with the H9. The two 140 mm fans on the bottom are blowing cold air directly into my GPU, and that 360mm Liquid Freezer keeps my CPU temps low as well. So for me, it would be H6 Flow (if you can fit your build in there)/ Fractal Torrent (if you're doing an air cooled build) tied at #1, with the H9 Flow at #3.
@tdav_a112 күн бұрын

@ what about a 240mm aio on the h6 and I meant the h6 not the h9
@paolosworld993 ай бұрын
Would you say the Fratcal Torrent has worse airflow than the H6? I'm fine with a giant computer case. I just want it to be quiet and cold
@MercuryTV3 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I can’t answer that honestly because I didn’t get to complete my build inside the H6, but it also would have been an entirely different set up than the Torrent. I will say though that if you’re going for an all air cooled build you will love the Torrent. Keeps your temps LOW and the airflow is amazing.

Will MSI B550 GAMING GEN3 fit the H6 Flow with the Freezer iii? Some motherboards fit according to r/nzxt.
@MercuryTV4 ай бұрын
So it looks like the MSI board doesn't have that massive I/O shield like my ASUS did. I pointed out to another user that the Liquid Freezer was jammed up against it and that's what was preventing me from fully mounting it. This was the picture I took of the mark it left from trying in the H6: imgur.com/a/cpCCfud. So MAYBE that MSI would work, if you give it a shot please let me know how it goes, but make sure you buy from somewhere you can easily return to (hoping you have a Microcenter nearby).

@MercuryTV4 ай бұрын
I drew this up, imgur.com/8hFkjfi. Completely understand the concern there. If your GPU isn't long enough to clear both 140mm intake fans, I think you're SOL. If it does go past the fans, you could get a product like this, www.amazon.com/Aivalas-Support-Graphics-Adjustable-Universal/dp/B0BPGJCLYR/. If it doesn't, I think these braces are your only option, and I don't think they work too well. www.amazon.com/EZDIY-FAB-GPU-Graphics-RTX3090-309EZ-Black/dp/B09466LNV3/
