Me and my wife separated a few years back and she played this for me 1 year before. I wish I listened as close as I am now. I decided to learn to play and sing this for her. Tbh this song has bittersweet memories for me. My dad and I would listen to this song a lot while my parents were getting a divorce. I still feel those feelings of pure sorrow and anger. We were literally the same person, we would talk every day for hours and hours and never get bored of each other (I though our record is 18?) but We met at the wrong time. He had a girlfriend at the time and i was in college in another state and we were both going through a depression. One night he was going to kill himself and I just happened to call him, not for any purpose in particular and we literally talked until the sun came up and fell madly in love... but I was in another state and he was being blinded by his crazy ex, and he didn't want to deal with the pain of long distance... So he chose her and we didn't speak for months, over half a year i believe. Somehow he ended up back in my life and it was extremely rocky at first There were so many times we stopped talking for months but somehow... we always ended up talking It was like we literally couldn't get rid of each other xD there was a lot of pain and tears and fighting, but time heals all wounds and I've honestly never been as in love as I am right now or as happy :) This is pretty lame but fuk it im feeling emotional right now dammit ;3; Why can't it be September yet
