Atlanta Master Chorale sang John Leavitt's arrangement of "O Holy Night" at our "Christmas with Atlanta Master Chorale" concert on December 14, 2013 at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta, GA. We were joined by the stunning Mezzo-Soprano Jamie Barton for the concert, and she is featured in this piece.

Had I not read the notes, and looked up, I would have thought that I was listening to Marilyn Horne!!! What an absolutely gorgeous rendition of one of my favorite Christmas Carols. Thank you for such a supreme blessing!!!! As a counter-tenor, I sing this in the low key of G, but an octave higher. Arlington, VA

What a splendid arrangement for the piano accompaniment!! Jamie Barton's delivery joins the voice of Louise Natale, who sang with Virgil Fox on that old Command recording ago. These two vocalists have no other equal in the conveying the words and printed notes in this song, so poorly performed by the many. I just came across the chorale channel and have quickly subscribed. Your musicians are just splendid and sort of replace the work of Robert Shaw. Bless you all, and those you love. DJ in Knoxville, TN
