這首《O Holy Night》是源自法國的聖誕頌歌《Minuit chrétien》，華語譯為「聖喜夜」。西元1843年，法國加爾省(Gard)有一座教堂為了慶祝管風琴翻修完成，教區牧師於是邀請當地的葡萄酒商Placide Cappeau撰寫聖誕詩歌。儘管Placide Cappeau是個業餘詩人又是一位無神論主義者，但在牧師的一再說服下，他仍然創作出了這首對上帝充滿崇敬的詩歌。詩歌表達了耶穌誕生的奇蹟，它深刻地描繪了那個聖夜的平安和喜悅，傳達了對耶穌基督的尊崇和崇敬之情。

YoYo wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!
"O Holy Night" originated from the French Christmas carol "Minuit chrétien,". In 1843, to celebrate the completion of the organ renovation at a church in Gard, France, the parish priest invited local wine merchant Placide Cappeau to compose a Christmas poem. Despite Cappeau being an amateur poet and an atheist, under the persistent persuasion of the priest, he created this deeply reverent song dedicated to God. The lyrics express the miracle of Jesus' birth, vividly depicting the peace and joy of that holy night and conveying profound reverence and admiration for Jesus Christ.
