Ive had one of these for almost 4 years, and it has been essential for so many jobs. Super reliable and never switches direction unintentionally, or drops the socket. Been left in puddles and rain numerous times and with a little bit of lubricant it always comes back around and works perfectly

In the late 1980s, I went through a Snap-on dealer to buy a 3/8-drive stubby ratchet (FK720). It came with 20-teeth, but he put a 30-tooth gear in it for me. It's total length is just under 4-inches and has a ball end like your Titan ratchet. It's perfect for loosening spark plugs and any bolt or nut that isn't torqued down too tight. Stubby ratchets rock.

I have this ratchet already and I love it. It’s a great little stubby. The mechanism is very smooth as well. I love putting on different length extensions if I need more leverage to break the bolt. Then remove the extension to spin it out faster. It can get addicting as a manly fidget spinner too. Haha. Great review catus as usual. I enjoy your reviews.

I was very sad for two years because I couldn’t find my Snap-on stubby… until I pulled the pump off my mini-excavator to have it rebuilt, only to find my baby ratchet stuck in a corner in the back of engine bay where it had been dropped. Some corrosion pitting, but a little WD to flush out the teeth, and it’s come through it’s ordeal just fine. :)

I went out a got this yesterday. Already used it a few times in places that a regular length ratchet would not fit! I am convinced that if I could only have one ratchet the Power Torque 3/8 stubby with ext connection would be the one. So versatile! It's pretty awesome!

It took me 8 months, but I finally got to view this excellent video, and one day later, I acted. It was worth the $16.99 + tax at O'Reilly's. My Koken 3/8-in-a-1/4 body is thousands of miles from me, so I can't compare the smallness of PowerTorque Mini Stubby against it. Therefore, for now I will agree that the PT is astoundingly small for a 3/8" ratchet having a reasonable amount of strength. An additional feature not mentioned in your review is this: If the direction lever is left in the middle, the anvil locks up. Perhaps some users will find that handy. While in the O'Reilly store I noticed a perfect complement to this ratchet, for only $17.99: Power Torque 3/8" drive 12-inch extension and breaker bar. It has a 3/8" female square recess at the end of the handle ... perfect place to plug in your stubby, either to keep it handy OR to polish off the removal of a fastener once the swivel anvil has broken it loose.

My ratchet was a long handled ratchet and i used it to crack oil drain pan bolts loose and on tye long handle i had a swivel with a socket to finish spinning iy off and i wouldnt get my hands oily. Same with tge filter i would use the ratchet to crack iy loose than transfer the filter removal tool to tye long end with swivell and finish taking it off and not get all oily. Than i used it for spark plugs and brakes and than i figured i should pattent it. All i did was weld a extention to the handle i did it to alot of my ratchets.

It seems the Duralast tools have changed and are not as good. Their 1/2 extension packs now only include 2 instead of 3 and used to have a knurled grip and seemed thicker than the new ones in store. I think you mentioned the ratchets not being as good in a previous video.

If you flip the u-joint the opposite way of what you showed you could strike the end of the extension with a hammer for breaking loose in tight spots. Obviously bad practice but when it comes down to getting things done sometimes bad practice is the preferred method
