O-Ring Installation Tips

There are 2 O-rings. This video only shows installation of one but in the video shows pictures of both. Where does the smaller one go?

Tim Hand if you’re talking about the metal gasket you put it on the drain plug

Some Toyotas that have a vertically mounted oil filter cap have a drainplug on the bottom of the oil filter housing cap. This is for draining the oil out of the oil filter prior to removal so as to minimize the mess. The second smaller o-ring goes under that oil filter drainplug.

never buyin another car w this style filter again.used to b simple 10min job now numerous issues can occur.wasted $80 worth of oil loss over leaky broke o ring

You show a pick in the video. Why is it that the official instructions from Toyota say NOT to use a pick OR SCREWDRIVER to remove the o-rings and why is it your video did not demonstrate the best way to remove an o-ring?

I used little the to pick the o ring and pick it the o ring very easy nothing damage or scratched
