I wish we sang this (or tried to, as untalented as I am) for the Eucharistic procession on Corpus Christi. It's a shame that modern-day Catholics generally, haven't found a way to normalize Gregorian chants (or at least their lyrics) in the context of NO Masses. I'm not artistically inclined & I bet you can't sing some chants when translated to other languages (unless you alter the arrangement), but thousands of years of God-given musical talent basically going to waste never completely sits well with me. Still, I appreciate young people giving of their time to sing vernacular hymns and tasteful contemporary music at Mass. We still pray, read the Bible, worship & receive Christ sacramentally (more important elements of Holy Mass).
