墨爾本Southbank區就在市中心旁, 旺中帶靜. 這個區的高樓特別多, 全墨爾本第一第二高的大廈都在裡面. 一邊是百層的住宅大廈, 另外一邊是藝術中心, 藝術館. 其實同區環境相差很大, 但生活很便利.
Southbank is a suburb next to the Melbourne city. It has its quiet, but also the vivid part. Lots of skyscrapers are sitting in the suburb. Melbourne’s tallest and 2nd tallest buildings are just right there. One side with residential building of a hundred levels, while the other side has art centres and art gallery. Pretty different in each parts, but living there is convenient.

1. I think southbank s an area for offices, while its also a luxurious residential area.(with many tall + new apts) 2. Pretty different i think. The first thing is that southbank is cleaner than the city i think. If u look up the map, the north part of southbank is just so close to the flinders st. in the city. Usually, i can see some homeless around flinders st., but not in southbank. That’s pretty different although there s only a river to separate them. But, not sure whether u're aware of the "free tram zone" thing in melb. city, which u can take free tram in the city centre n docklands. Southbank is just Not in the zone. 3. Crown casino is a landmark in southbank and there s an art gallery. If u want to view the city from the top, u might go to euraka tower. For me, nearly every time i go southbank is for food😂 Many good restaurants on the riverside 4. I m not sure wt's the gov's new plan for southbank, but i can see some apt buildings are still under construction. It would be great if they extend the free tram zone to southbank

是的，從新州開車到維州有雪山，還可以進Canberra玩，有幾個人一起去真不錯. 畢竟900多公里，一路不停也要9小時, 多幾個人開車會好一點呀 ：)

COVID 搞到墨爾本邊了死城 樓價大跌 事實上租用商業樓宇的大公司完全轉了hot desk概念 員工返工只是為了開會 但現在又可以網上開會 令到在市中心番工的人紛紛選擇在家工作 搬離市中心到海濱居住 海濱地區的樓市就因為疫情受青睞 看了只有待疫情過後 學生和遊客回來以後才有番身機會

Just for statistics, the rental rate of return is a little bit higher in southbank. Both areas dont hv many ppl who s born in au compare to other suburbs. But, i can see from walking on the street that box hill seems to hv more families. I mean the rental mkt might be unstable during covid if overseas students / other overseas ppl might not be able to come bk to au? Also, by statistics, box hill s property price s more stable comparing to southbank among these yrs. U can find the statistics from realestate.com.au . Um... It is hard to choose, but i personally like the environment in Southbank more

我比較喜歡southbank, docklands, port Melbourne這種區，有水又近市中心, 而且比較新. 公寓比較好呀，澳洲house有很多昆蟲吧, 而且house一般位置不會太方便, 除非租金/價格很貴的那些

@@katyingkwan southbank作爲旅游偏重的區,優缺點,都被你説完了,港區倒是不錯,毗鄰市中心,購物也方便,而且很安靜.port Melbourne據説未來有很好的發展計劃,不過西人的基建發展都是十年起跳的,近期看來這個區似乎也只有景色和幾個不錯的酒莊,這些優點了.

Docklands主要是有免費電車，在市中心上班的話省不少錢呀，澳洲的交通費真是不便宜. Port melb. 我看到不少房子在建，現在已發展的在南邊，但house多, 其他地方還是有一點荒蕪, 發展最少5年吧, 畢竟melb建房比Sydney快好多, 也不知道為什麼 ：)

我有車有牌呀，只是不喜歡開車, 有點怕 (我是p牌) melb.又有tram而且highway很多100, 好快呀... ^^” Melb.停車要錢呀，連去商埸或去vic market都要錢... 除非買到一定金額才免費. 之前從Syd過來很不習慣，因為syd很少要停車費

請問有仔女家庭在這區買樓住跟住搭火車返學是否很少? 因為移民前未決定到邊區買樓 之前旅遊時住過Southbank 感覺幾好 想在South bank 買apartment 住過兩年搬屋先放租 另外 Flinders 火車站上學放學時間是否很多人同是否安全? 謝謝回覆

沒有問到有人出租呀. 分租可以試一下Flatmate網站. 😄 如果不在澳洲境內，現在好像Pr和citizen是有入沒出, 進來澳洲隔離費單人約$3k aud. 不是Pr和citizen還不能進來呀
