Oak Mountain High School Band - The 2015 Halftime Show

For the 2015 Marching Season, the OMHS Spirit of Cahaba Marching Band performed "Tragedy and Triumph - The Music of our Heroes". The show featured music from Superman, Robin Hood, The Dark Knight, Saving Private Ryan, and Band of Brothers. The band earned Superior Ratings in all captions at both their competitions this year including Best in Class - Percussion and the John T. Finley Award for Highest Music Score at the Contest of Champions at Jacksonville State University. At the Heart of Dixie Marching Festival in Prattville, AL the show earned Best in Class - Drum Major, Color Guard, and Band including the Class AAA/AAAA Grand Champion. - As this was a competition, there were other bands warming up nearby which is heard during the OMHS performance, especially at the beginning.

This is also amazing, but I love 2014's (Star wars) more, this is kind of slow, my band is playing "Night Watch" this year and we hate movement 2 just because it's so slow and sleepy. But your band is great at slow marching, we should learn from your band. in one word, OMHS's band was excellent every year!

+Bob Fitzgerald I am in Paramus Catholic High School in New Jersey, I am the percussion chief. Actually I will only be in this school for a year and June of 2016 I am going back to China (I am a exchange student). Now I am preparing for our winter drumline which starts at January 4th, after that I am going to find some cool music for my mother school in China. Your band's drummajor is so enthusiastic! I love their style. For the percussion, you have 5 snare 4 quads 5 bass drum this year, but we only have 2 snare 3 bass this year. During the winter drumline I am going to switch to quads, and I want to try JIG 2, I already made a "JIG2 Christmas edition" for fun ( I don't know did I touch anything with copyright, sorry) I really like the Star wars' music, I think we can use it on next September's Chinese show. My old music teacher let me to draw the drill and be the drummajor when I back to China next year, I am so excited. I will try my best to find my school's recent show and post on youtube, but the full version's may not because now I'm also finding it but I didn't got any of video during the season.
