I was driving our Special Needs daughter to school and talking with God. This road is hard and lately I am feeling guilty of needing more help with her and all these what if’s. Then this song came on the radio and I took it as a direct message that she is meant to be and it’s a gift. Thank God for Kids. Merry Christmas everyone!♥️🎄♥️

How are things now? My Grandson has "Non-Verbal autism" (He's now 13 and is a "Forever Boy"). My daughter has 5 kids, plus takes all kids who need her help, getting them to face their issues and go home. Ironically she is a "Special needs teacher. Some how she has put together a "Basketball League (321 Hoops it's successful and well known locally), and Kyle's Klub" once a week for special needs families to come and feel safe from all judgment. NOW before you think she figured out how turn 24hrs a day into 36hrs you should know she was born and raised on our lil home town Island and the Community support she has had her whole life, along with unbending support for Kyle Our "Beautiful Boy/ Forever Boy has been the big reason behind all this success. Without a good support system it's so damn hard. I hope you have applied for the grants that allow her to attended a school that is suited for her needs. Also find a support group like "Kyles Klub", if there is not then by God START ONE yourself!! Trust me one quick post on Facebook and you will be overwhelmed with others in the same boat as yours. It will change your life forever and make life a lot easier. It was scary at first, but as I said we are just LUCKY that because we are a fixture and well known in our community it has worked out for us. But she still falls apart at the fear of her own death if God takes her first. Our youngest (Karson since age 3 now 10) has always said....Don't cry Mommas (Yes with an S LOL), I will take good care of Kyle and he will live with me when I grow up if God takes you home first(Yeah we all fell apart and cry when he says that). I posted a youtube Vid of Kyle years ago ( Kyle Klender autism) if u would like to see it. But get that community support.

Many years ago, after some medical issues and being told I may not beable to have kids, I could not listen to this...fast forward, and two wonderful kids later (absolutely no problems conceiving) I still can't listen to this without a few tears...and a prayer of thanks to the good Lord above

i just so rarely see music this special these days. as i feel my fathers final days passing by to advanced vascular dementia, i am thankful he brought me up on beautiful music like this. the oak ridge boys and alabama were some of his favorites, and quickly became endeared by me as well. I am praying for you, Dad, and hope you get your mind back in Heaven. I love you.

Thinking of you. I grew up on the same music listening with my father. I lost him Dec 2019 and was not allowed to say goodbye. Was kept away by a cheating stepmother. My Dad was my best friend. My heart hurt for you reading your comment. Oh how a song can take you back to a moment in time and can bring you back to bittersweet precious memories that time and a hateful disease has robbed from you both. Praying your Dad will be made whole on the other side and that you will always have beautiful memories to cherish and that he will say hello to you in a song and in other special ways that only a child would recognize because a bond that special, a love that strong is one that transcends all time, distance and space. ❤️ Your father will send you hellos and I love yous All the time if you just keep your heart open to the magic. ❤️🌈🙏🏻

@@eclecticgiraffe191 thanks. I lost him in December of 2020 and then my car broke down on the way to his funeral 7 months later, delayed by covid19 rules. Family didn't want to wait for me, and seems like most don't want to speak to me now, which makes it extra hard. What can you do. I just visit him on my own when I can, and hope he hears me from heaven.

Bless your sweet heart.❤😘 I'm so sorry you have these feelings. They truly are horrible.💔 My mother was barely present for most of my lifetime & when she was around, she made sure I knew she was disappointed in me. Not many things I can think of that are worse than being rejected by your own mother. My heart goes out to you. Please remember, you're SO much more than the way anyone sees you. This song is the reason I stopped the cycle of abuse in my family and I have two perfect miracles and every child around me knows me as aunty Heidi whether we are related or not ... Every child is a miracle and this changed everything for me coming from a home with a pedophile for a father and a mama who was raised by abusive drunks who never drank and did her best but never knew the monster she married until it was too late ... My mama is in heaven now and I know she's so proud of me because I stopped the cycle for good and forever

Hence the sad reality of child abuse!😠 Nevertheless, those parents who REALLY try their best with their children, God bless them for it! I can't say enough good things about those type of parents. That said, on the bright side of things, while I'm childfree myself, I DO have nieces and nephews that I love to death! Like Mr. William Lee Golden said, thank God for kids.
