Oakbrook Center - Chicagoland's Outdoor Mall

My mom and I went to an outdoor mall which was over the border in Wisconsin years ago I believe? I don't know if it's there anymore. But it was years ago. I don't remember the name. We were never really "mall folks" because the stores are so expensive. But we'd go just to walk around and people watch.

Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets! Definitely still there. And I have a video coming out VERY soon from said place and their food court! 🙂 They are all the "outlet stores" of those fancy stores. So, if you're looking for discounts on clothes, purses, whatever, this is the place to go. There is one in Aurora as well.

I never really went to this mall because the stores were always high end, way beyond my budget lol. I have been here once or twice with other people though. They seem to be doing well and that's always good to see.

There wasn't ever too much I wanted to pick up here either. Honestly, I got kind of confused walking around there when I was younger. Makes more sense to me now. I much prefer trying to find something at the "Outlet Malls" like I mentioned to Miss above and see if I can get those big brands at a discount. It's definitely thriving. Which makes sense for the area it is in. And the outdoor area is nice.

Where's the great Bigsby and Crothers Men's Store or the Club House Restaurant?

Unfortunately, I know very little about this place. It has probably been over 20 years since I have last been there. This property is so big too. I may have very well missed a section lol.

Clubhouse restaurant closed down in Dec 2021, it's now a C.D. Peacock Jewelry store
