I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes I am always trying to focus on the underdogs so maybe people will give them a second look! The big showy wildflowers don't need advocates because they look sexy and people want to grow them. I'm just hoping to show people the little wildflowers are just as beautiful and important and deserve a place in anyone's green space. It's also a necessity for me to work with what Mother Nature gives me because my MS has kept me from traditional landscaping and gardening for several decades. I have total appreciation, and gratitude, for the humblest of any wildflowers that choose to grace my green space. :)

That's fantastic! They are often overlooked because they blend into the landscape AND they only bloom for about a month so if you don't catch them just right you might miss them. Not to mention the foliage almost dies back to nothing for most of the year. You definitely have to time this one just right to find it. They are such cheerful little daisy like flowers!
