Found a Sunglass Hut that had the Kato in stock and was excited to go try them on, but unfortunately they're a little to Big for my face and stick out to much on the sides and that bummed me out because I really wanted them. Love they're futuristic vibe. I also tried on the encoders and found that they fit my face much better because they're a smaller lens, they're a size 36 whereas the Kato is size 49. I just bought the Sondors Rockstar E-bike so that's another reason why I wanted the Oakley Kato, the nice thing is that the encoders use the same kinda lens so that makes me feel somewhat better.

I'm in So. Cal near the water & saw the KATO lastnight on Oakley's site, watched your 2 video's to get some different views. I splurged, went and bought a pair of the polished black frame w/Prizm road lenses today at noon, rode with them for 27 miles tonight, WONDERFUL, SWEET, all that good stuff. I have a pair of M-Frame w/ ice Iridium sweep lenses and the KATO rival's them along with the others in my Oakley collection. KATO are a one off look for sure. Thanks. 👍🤟👣🇺🇸

Great Review Bro! I’m a golfer and I love wearing cycling glasses while golfing. I’m debating between the two myself. The kato looks best while your riding! You look more like a Harley Man than a cyclist! Keep Up the good work and thanks for the review! God Bless Mate!

May I ask if you have a larger sized head by chance? The reason I ask is because I do and I would really like to purchase these but I'm nervous they won't fit me at all, I wear classic design double wide pit vipers, and also 100% speedcraft and hypercraft models too, but these are so futuristic but I'm worried they won't fit, could you possibly give me you're opinion on the sizing by chance?

How are the nose pieces on either model as far as visibility? Is the peripheral visibility distracting at all by the nose piece?

It’s just enough to keep the lens from fogging. The more I wear the Kato the more I like them. The Encoder is definitely a more socially acceptable style tho.

Very solid. They are made of a thick lens material. You can tell they are made to last.

No. Just remembering if you itch your nose it’s half covered. Fingerprints. And to push the glasses up there isn’t a frame so your touching the lens more then usual.
