I know this video has been out for awhile but this is my first *sport Prizm Oakley lens and it is by FAR my favorite. Perfect for running, cuts a ton of glare out compared to regular Prizm. And...the green / rose combo has great aesthetics especially in the Sutro frame. Oakely 4 Life.

Road jade is my new favorite lens ( long time fanatic of trail and trail torch). Road jade are great for roar cycling, but also are good for MTB in open environment with bright sunny conditions (desert style trails).

Hi there! PRIZM Road Jade is slightly darker than PRIZM Road. The other main difference is the color of the iridium mirror on the outside of the lens.

@@mbreeswine thats upto lighting I suppose, prizm lenses have different opacities in different conditions, its transparent in some camera shots but glossy in others, dunno why

The Prizm Jade is categorized under Oakley's Everyday lens collection as it lacks the rose base tint to give the viewer natural and vibrant color perception that is not geared toward athletic performance.

Hi! The term 'Iridium' refers to the reflective mirror on the frontside of most Oakley lenses. While most, but not all, Prizm lenses have an Iridium coating (mirror), the term is left out as to not confuse with their standard (non-Prizm) lens options.

Hey there! Both Prizm lenses have a grey base tint and similar VLT percentage. The Sapphire delivers a warmer tone with hints of vermillion where the Jade is more overtly grey with hints of purple. Personal preference is obviously a factor, but for all types of light conditions you may benefit more from the Sapphire🪂

There are many Prizm and standard replacement lens options for the Jawbreaker, but currently there are only 4 choices paired with the Jawbreaker frame on the SportRx site.

Generally speaking a polarized lens is recommended for driving but some people do prefer a non polarized option like the Prizm Road Jade and find benefits in the rose based tint.

Hey Milo! The Prizm Road Jade's rose base tint makes is a suitable option for mountain biking, especially in bright/sunny conditions due to it's low VLT (15%). However, if you ride in conditions with sparse light or sections with heavy canopy, then the Jade may prove too dark. You will likely benefit more from a higher VLT lens like the Prizm Trail or Trail Torch. 🚵‍♂️

Prizm is the umbrella term for Oakley's authentic lens tint technology. The Prizm Road is a specific lens type in that category of lenses.

It falls under the Prizm Sport category for this reason. The Prizm Jade, under the Prizm Everyday collection, by comparison, has a grey base that keeps color tones more neutral and has a lower VLT percentage.
